How to access Mech. Engr. Abaqus, Adams, Maple, Matlab, EES, MathMatica, Solidworks Servers Remotely We have setup two terminal servers to allow ME students to access Adams, Maple, Matlab, EES, Abaqus, Mathmatica and Solidworks from their dorm rooms or off campus 24/7. You will login with your Cal Poly username and password. The remote desktop can map your local drives and printers so you can create a file and save it to your local c:\ drive, USB drive or campus supplied 5Gb U:\drive. To retrieve files from the U:\ drive you would map your U:\ drive from a lab computer on campus. When you are finished using a lab computer that you ve mapped your U:\ drive be sure and restart so that your U:\ files are not available to the next user. To access the servers remotely: 1. From your home computer launch Remote Desktop. (found from the Start menu, Programs, Accessories, Remote Desktop Connection, right click and make a shortcut) 2. In the remote desktop connection enter: 129.65.13.34 for the Adams, EES, Maple, and Matlab server or 129.65.13.37 for the Abaqus, EES, Matlab, Mathmatica, and Solidworks server and click options to map your local drives and printer.
3. Select Printers and More 4. Check Drives to map Your Local Drive(s), and then OK to continue.
