Supracontrol promptly recognises and warns about all potentially harmful conditions near a rack - ranging from the basic ones like humidity, variations in temperature, to the extreme ones like water, vibrations or smoke. Temperature sensor monitors the temperature, and the user defines the range between the minimal and the maximal values. The device notifies the user when the temperature exceeds the defined range. This sensor is ideal for controlling of the computer room temperature and detecting of an error in air-conditioning system, sudden temperature changes and rack overheating. Humidity sensor Centralised management The temperature is not the only one influencing seamless operation of the system; the air humidity can make an impact, too. The water often cannot be detected but if it is detected on time, it is possible to prevent a catastrophic damage to the system and the data. This sensor warns about leakages in a system room. Vibrations sensor The vibrations sensor is extremely useful as it notifies the user about rack shaking which can cause damage in server operation. Particle sensor The particle sensor measures the presence and the concentration of dust and other particles in the air. An excessive concentration of particles can cause damage of the server and communication equipment. Magnetic sensor The magnetic sensor is located on side and back doors of the rack and it is used to define door position in any time. The registration of door opening frequency ensures information on a suspicious or non-authorised access to the rack.
