On-line Spanish placement test (one per student). Academic Trip to San Cristóbal de Las Casas. Closing Ceremony. Orientation Session. ID Card. Advice for accomodations. Access to all university facilities (gym, computer labs, library, sports fields, etc). Medical assistance available for minor needs. Airport transfer (only in the official arrival and departure dates). Weekly activities organized during the summer. Official group picture. The program fee includes (for Students in San Cristóbal de las Casas) Tuition: or 6 credits (any class) Monday through Friday (Professor provided by Tecnológico de Monterrey). Participation in a Community Service Project. Trip to Sumidero Canyon. Closing Ceremony. Orientation Session. ID Card. Advice for accommodation. The program fee does not include: Plane ticket, local transportation, health insurance, lodging, personal expenses, meals, or any other incidental costs. For the Academic and Community Service Program students must pay its own transportation when needed. HOUSING Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Chiapas will suggest lodging options. Students will receive a wide list of hotels and independent house rentals previously arranged by international programs office. Students can also select a different housing option, it is not mandatory to stay in the options provided by Tecnológico de Monterrey HEALTH INSURANCE Tecnológico de Monterrey requires all international students to have a Major Health Insurance Policy with comprehensive coverage in the host country for the duration of the academic period in which the students will be involved. Insurances must have a minimum coverage of $50,000 USD for accidents and illnesses and also must include medical evacuation, repatriation of remains and civil liability. Make sure that the insurance is directly accepted by Mexican hospitals.

ORIENTATION SESSION Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Chiapas will give a welcome orientation session. During the orientation session, different practical topics will be exposed: City guide, safety issues, emergencies and medical services, sightseeing, shopping, restaurants, campus regulations, program generalities, etc.
