Guaranteed Internship Placement in Canada Process 1. Application Send the application form, copy of candidate s passport and resume to Stepwest. 2. Skype Admittance Consultation Candidate will partake in a Skype consultation. The agency partner will receive the report with the result of the interview. This email will serve as a confirmation letter for the placement. 3. Program Registration To confirm registration, the candidate sends deposit (usually 50% of total gross fee) to agency partner after successful consultation. 4. Placement Process Stepwest will then begin the placement process. A Stepwest placement coordinator will revise resume, conduct interview preparation, arrange Skype internship interview, confirm internship placement, and collect internship offer letter. 5. Visa Application The agency partner will assist the client in applying for the relevant visa (IEC Co-op Internship). 6. Payment Once visa is granted, the candidate pays the remaining fee (50%) to agency partner. Stepwest will invoice the agency partner the net amount. 7. Arrival Candidate arrives in Canada and attends orientation (if in Vancouver), and meets with host company supervisor to begin internship. Note: If using the IEC working holiday permit, the visa application will be done prior to the internship placement. Options Available Homestay, Medical Insurance, English Study. Refund Policy $250 when candidate is registered but decides to cancel before an interview has been arranged. 50% when the candidate decides to cancel after an interview has been arranged.
