For hygiene & the comfort of all training clothing/equipment must be washed &/or clean. Do not use the club equipment unless authorized by a Coach. Please do not borrow other student s equipment without his/her permission. Students must always keep their finger and toenails clipped and clean for their own safety and that of their training partners. Take all empty bottles with you & don t leave anything behind at the end of class Clothing is to be left in the changing rooms and not brought into the gym (only training equipment such as gloves / gum shields etc & water bottles are allowed into the training hall).
Section 8 FFMA History After doing some martial arts research Tony Terranova found that students often lost interest in their training system which resulted in a lack of motivation to continue training. Inspired by Peter Consterdine's training day DVD's and Master Sken's style of Muay Thai, he decided to develop a system which incorporated practical skills and fulfilled some of the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of modern day living. He then developed his own training syllabus and Fighting Fit Martial Arts was started in January 2007 and affiliated to the British Combat Association. Tony gives much credit to his daughter Emma and coach Joe Viall who have coached and supported the club from the first week it started. Mark Collett joined after the club was established and today plays a major role as a coach and co-owner of the business. You can visit Tony's article section on our website for more background information. Tony & Mark feel privileged to have the following martial artists as their mentors: Peter Consterdine, Geoff Thompson, Master Sken and John B Will.
