The membership allowed me to disseminate and discuss my research results at the international level in the EASA Biennial Conference in 2008. Associational service 2013- Present Member of the Scientific Committee of Collectif Mémoire Coloniale et Lutte contre les Discriminations, a group of anti- racist associations promoting the dissemination of researches addressing colonial history, postcolonial issues and ethno- racial discrimination in Belgium. 2008- Present Volunteer in TES (Tous Ensemble au Soleil), a Belgian non- profit organization offering after- school activities and courses to children whose school education cannot be followed by their parents. I help with fundraising activities. 2009-2014 Volunteer in Raffia Synergies, a non- profit organization promoting the achievements of people of sub- Saharan origin and Euro- African cooperation in Belgium. I helped with the organization of networking encounters between professionals of sub- Saharan African origin and of the international development sector. 1998-2001 Board Member and Volunteer in Le Manguier en Fleur- De Mangoboom in Bloei, a Belgian non- profit organization. I participated as a French teacher in the bridging courses program the association provided to unaccompanied immigrant children. 4
SKILLS Research, teaching, communication, teamwork and organization are the main skills I developed during my professional life. Softwares: I can work with PCs as well as with Mac. My computer skills include the Microsoft and Open Office main softwares; two software tools for managing bibliographies Endnote and Zotero; and two qualitative data analysis softwares ALCESTE and QSR Nvivo. Languages: I am a native French speaker and I am fluent in English. I scored 110/120 on the TOEFL on 11-01- 2014. I also have a good working knowledge of Dutch and Spanish and a basic knowledge of German and Swahili. 5
