INNER RANGE TRAINING CENTRE Inner Range Training Centre is a Registered Training Organisation and is registered to deliver the following Nationally Accredited training courses: Course in Basic Concept Security System Installation and Programming Course in Intermediate Concept Security System Applications and Software Course in Advanced Concept Security System Applications. Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. We believe Inner Range Training Centre to be the first Australian Security Manufacturer to introduce a complete, Nationally Accredited, competency based training strategy for its products. Inner Range Training Centre now offers a comprehensive range of training courses and modules to actively raise the levels of skill, knowledge and professionalism in the Security Electronics Industry. This type of training pays dividends to all concerned. More than just brainstorming or idea-sharing workshops, modules are Nationally Accredited and delivered by Qualified Inner Range Instructors. Successful students are rewarded with the issue of a Nationally Recognised Certificate of Attainment for the completed module or course. In addition, students who successfully complete specific modules are entitled to apply for Inner Range Factory Certification at either Certified Technician or Systems Engineer level. Factory Certification provides significant market advantage for technicians and those companies who employ such technicians. Official logos, insignias and endorsements may be used by those technicians who have been awarded Factory Certification and Inner Range s own marketing strategy will recommend and actively promote the use of Factory Certified Technicians or Systems Engineers to install and maintain its Concept products. Students who do not successfully complete a module are either invited back to re-sit the module or arrangements are made for them to be re-assessed, having further studied the necessary subjects. This offer is available to students at no additional charge. Those technicians who currently work with Concept products may wish to have their existing skills and knowledge formally recognised and certified. This is achieved through a process called Recognition of Current Competency and can enable experienced technicians to fast-track the Concept training path. Further details are available from Inner Range or their Web Site. inner range Pty Ltd ABN 26 007 103 933 1 Millennium Court, Knoxfield, VIC 3180. Australia. Concept Training Courses offer unrivaled benefits and value for money. Join the growing team of professional technicians who have already identified the changing face of the Electronic Security Industry and wish to properly prepare themselves for the inevitable short supply of technicians, capable of installing and maintaining intelligent, integrated Security and Building Management systems. Inner Range Factory Certification Inner Range now offers Factory Certification to appropriately qualified technicians. Factory Certification at the Certified Technician level or the Systems Engineer level may be awarded, depending upon the level of Nationally Accredited Concept Training that the applicant has achieved. Factory Certification brings with it a wealth of benefits for the technician: 1. Factory Certification is competency based and is therefore a clear indication of the technician s ability to install and maintain Concept products at the designated level. Inner Range will promote and advertise the Factory Certification initiative so that Concept customers, Project Managers and Consultants may be aware of the competencies that technicians are required to possess in order to be awarded Factory Certification at the two levels. 2. Having allowed a suitable period of time to establish a contingent of Certified Technicians and System Engineers, Inner Range intends to promote its recommendation that Concept products be installed and maintained by Inner Range Certified Technicians or Inner Range Systems Engineers. Specific Concept products and applications will be aligned with a particular level of Factory Certification, depending upon the levels of competency required to install and maintain the product or application effectively. 3. Inner Range Certified Technicians and Inner Range Systems Engineers are issued a Photo Identification Card, displaying a Certification Number, the level of Certification and the Expiry Date. Technicians should produce this card to customers as proof of competency and Factory Certification to the particular level. 4. Factory Certification is awarded for a period of two years, after which time the technician will be required to re-apply. Proof of current competency is required for each application. 5. Factory Certification is specific to the technician, not the company for which the technician works. Therefore, Certified Technicians and Systems Engineers may be of greater value to their company. 2

6. A company who employs at least one Certified Technician or one Systems Engineer will be eligible to apply for recognition as an Inner Range Accredited Dealer. Inner Range will maintain an up-to-date list of Inner Range Accredited Dealer. The list will indicate the name and location of the company as well as the numbers of each type of Technician currently employed by the company. This information will be available to current and potential Concept customers. Technicians will be invited to report any changes of employment details to Inner Range in order to maintain accuracy of records. 7. Factory Certified Technicians are permitted to reproduce and display the authorised Inner Range Certification logo appropriate to their level of certification. Inner Range Certified Technician: Inner Range Systems Engineer: The approved logo may be reproduced and displayed on Business Cards, Letterheads, Advertising Material, Vehicles, Uniforms etc. 3

8. Companies who qualify as Inner Range Accredited Dealers will be permitted to reproduce and display an authorised Accredited Dealer logo whilst there is at least one current Certified Technician or Systems Engineer in the company s employ and provided always that the logo is not used in such a manner so as to falsely imply the factory certified status of a non-certified technician. The above criteria having been satisfied, companies may display the logo on Business Cards, Letterheads and Advertising Material. 9. Other promotional offers may be made to Inner Range Certified Technician, Systems Engineers and Accredited Dealers from time to time. 4

COURSE IN BASIC CONCEPT SECURITY SYSTEM INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING This competency based course comprises two modules: Basic Concept Installation and Basic Concept Programming.
