INTRODUCTION In this guide, we provide step-by step instructions on how to get started with ORACLE STORAGE CLOUD SERVICE cloud platform and use it with CloudBerry Drive, that mounts your Oracle Storage Cloud Service account as a network or external drive to your Windows computer. With CloudBerry Drive you can work with files in Oracle Cloud directly from the Windows Explorer interface, the same way as if they were on your local drive. CloudBerry Drive compresses and encrypts data before it leaves your laptop or desktop computer, and securely transfers it to the cloud in real time. HOW TO SIGN UP FOR ORACLE STORAGE CLOUD SERVICE 1. Go to http://www.oracle.com/index.html and choose Sign In / Register: 2. Create an Oracle Account or enter the existing: 5
3. Fill out the registration form, submit terms and conditions, then click Create Account button. 4. On the next step click Continue. 6
5. Enter the Oracle account you have created: 6. Go to https://cloud.oracle.com/storage and click Try it button. 7
7. Choose Storage Cloud Service- Non-Metered Trial : 8. Fill out the application form and click Next. 9. Request and submit the Verification Code, then click Next: 8
9. Copy Service Details to a separate file, confirm Terms and Conditions, then click Request Trial: 10. Review the Summary and click Close. 10. On the next step, please, click Sign in. 9
11. On the next step, please, choose Sign in to My Account. 12. In the appeared window specify the language and timezone, then click Save: 10
13. Once you ll get access to the dashboard, please, click Activate: 13. Please, check your email for a submission named Welcome to Oracle Cloud. Your trial is ready. You can find there User name, Temporary Password and Subscription details at the bottom of the message and copy all the information to the separate text file: 11
HOW TO ADD ORACLE STORAGE CLOUD SERVICE ACCOUNT TO CLOUDBERRY DRIVE 1. Launch CloudBerry Drive, find its icon in the system tray, click it and go to the "Options" menu. 2. From the Options window, select "Storage Accounts" tab and click the Add button: 12
3. Select from Storage Provider field Oracle Cloud: 4. On the Oracle Cloud Account window, enter any name you like to have for the account in the Display Name field. 13

Enter User name, which consists from: Oracle Cloud Service Instance Name Oracle Cloud Identity Domain: Oracle Cloud User Name For our trial account it looks like: storagetrial8536-uscloudberryltrial16374:karsson@bk.ru 6. Api key (Password): Please, don t change the Authentication Service, if you have received any special instructions from Oracle. The Authentication Service will be specified automatically based on the information about assigned Data Center, which you have received in the submission email. Choose Do not use for Keystone version. Then specify the Account location (Data Center) the account was assigned to: 14
Once it's done, go ahead and hit OK to finish registering a new Oracle Cloud account in CloudBerry Backup. 4. You will see your new Oracle Account displayed in the list of the registered accounts. 15
HOW TO ADD ORACLE CLOUD ACCOUNT AS DRIVE 1. Now select the Mapped Drives tab then click on Add button. At the opened Mapped Drive Options window first of all you should select an existing account or create a new (see the appropriate topic of this manual). 2. For new mapped drive you'll need specify a Drive letter and Volume label (any letter you like). Then specify the Path to the certain folder in you bucket/container if necessary. 16
3. You can specify, if you would like to mount this disc by every system startup or manually. It is recommended to choose the type Network Mapped Drive. Then click OK. 17
4. In the appeared window, please, submit, that you would like to save settings and mount the new drive immediately. You will see it in the list of existing drives. Mounting process can take one or two minutes. COUNTERS AND QUEUE 1. To monitor task progress, number of requests and traffic counters while working with CloudBerry Drive you can use Counters and Queue. 18
2. Counters. The first of them contains the counters of running time, requests, traffic, and cost estimates (cost for requests, cost for traffic and total cost). List of counters can be resorted by categories or alphabetically. You can also reset the counters using Reset button to start monitoring from a current moment of your activity. 19
3. Queue. The second monitoring window contains the list of current tasks - uploading, deleting etc. 100% completed tasks will be automatically cleared up from the list in 30 seconds after their completion. Both windows have a "pin it" button to stay them on top.
