To ensure the most accurate assignment, install this update at your earliest convenience. Please share this information with others in your organization that install or work with SAP solutions. 2 Download directory files The steps listed here describe how to install the directory files on Windows. Note If the directories that you own are not listed on the SAP Service Marketplace, see the section entitled "What to do if the directories are not available for download." 1. Access https://service.sap.com/sbop-directories and sign in with your S-User ID and password. 2. Click Address Directories. 3. Click the first item that you want to download (for example, SAP GEO DIR US - HERE). 4. Click the directory format for the version of software that you use (for example, SAP GEO DIR US-HERE 4.X). 5. Click Installation or # OS independent to display the Downloads page. 6. Click the check box to the left of the item or items that you want to install. Some HERE directories are large, so there are multiple parts to download. Each part is approximately 4 GB in size. The first part has a file extension of.exe, and the remaining parts have a file extension of.rar. For example: <filename>.exe <filename>.rar <filename>.rar 7. Click Add to Download Basket. Note (SAP Data Services only) To automate the process of identifying new directories and adding them to your Download Basket, use the Directory Update Assistant that is installed with SAP Data Services. 8. To add more directories to the Download Basket, click the Address Directories link above the Downloads section. 9. Follow steps 4-8 for each directory as needed. 10. Run the Download Manager to start the download process. 2.1 Using the Directory Update Assistant The Directory Update Assistant helps you identify the directories that can be updated and automatically adds them to your Download Basket on the SAP Service Marketplace. The utility is installed with SAP Data Services. Note Currently, the Directory Update Assistant is only available for SAP Data Services. 6 2015 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. Note You must have Java 1.6 or higher to use the utility. 1. Run the Directory Update Assistant batch file in the command prompt. On UNIX, the default location and file name is <DS_COMMON_DIR>/DataQuality/ DirectoryUpdateAssistant/dir_update.sh. On Windows, the default location and file name is <DS_COMMON_DIR>\DataQuality \DirectoryUpdateAssistant\dir_update.bat. On Windows, you can alternatively run the dir_update_wizard.bat file, which guides you through a series of prompts. 2. The first time that you run the batch file, you must enter the parameters. The Directory Update Assistant securely stores the parameter values so that you do not need to enter them on subsequent executions. Example: dir_update.bat -smpuser <userid> -smppass <password> -proxyhost <proxyhostname> - proxyport <portnumber> The following table describes the available command parameters. Table 3: Parameter -smpuser -smppass Description The SAP Service Marketplace user ID. The SAP Service Marketplace password. Note On UNIX, if your password contains a backslash (\), enter the parameter value as a double backslash (\\). -proxyhost -proxyport -proxyuser -proxypass The optional proxy host address. The optional proxy port number. The optional proxy user ID. The optional proxy password. Note On UNIX, if your password contains a backslash (\), enter the parameter value as a double backslash (\\). -output The output file path and file name. The Directory Update Assistant identifies the latest downloadable directories from the current month and two previous months. It keeps track of directories that you have already added to the basket and adds only new directories to your Download Basket. The command line displays the results of the execution, including the months searched, whether a proxy was used, and a list of each directory that was added to the Download Basket. 3. Use the SAP Download Manager to download the directories from the SAP Service Marketplace. To further automate the directory download process, you can schedule future downloads. To schedule a one-time download, use the SAP Download Manager Scheduler. The SAP Download Manager must remain running until after the download is complete. To regularly add downloadable items to your Download Basket, the Directory Update Assistant can be scheduled using a tool such as the Windows Task Scheduler. 8 2015 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company. 3 Install directories After you download the directories, you need to extract the files and copy them to the proper locations for the SAP solutions to access them. Our installation programs install software, but not directories. Place all directories in the appropriate location for the software you are using. Note If you use both HERE and TomTom directories, make sure that you install them in separate locations. Note To enable Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) codes output, including GOV_REGION1_CODE and GOV_COUNTY_CODE, for centroid-level assignment in the Geocoder transform for US data, the reference data folder must contain only the directories extracted from the AdvancedGeoFeatures.ZIP file with no other directory files. 3.1 Extract multi-part directory files on Windows Make sure that you have downloaded all required files before extracting multi-part files. The following steps describe how to extract multi-part directory files on Windows. 1. Stop any data flows that use the U.S. Regulatory Address Cleanse transform or Geocoder transform 2. Locate and double-click the <filename>.exe file. WinRAR prompts you for the location in which to place the directory files. 3. Browse to the folder where you want WinRAR to place the directory files and click Install. Basic For basic directory format files, which are used for address geocoding mode: By default, Data Services looks for the directory files in <DataServicesInstallLocation>\SAP BusinessObjects\Data Services\DataQuality\reference_data. By default Data Quality Management SDK looks for the directory files in SAPBusinessObjects \DataQualityManagementSDK\windows_32\DataQuality\reference_data. The advanced directory format uses the geo_us_nt.dir file that is extracted from the AdvancedGeoFeatures.zip file. The directory file is a larger version of the geo_us_nt.dir file, and contains data used for address geocoding, reverse geocoding, and POI textual search modes. It must be installed in a separate folder from the basic directory format files. For the advanced directory format file, create a new folder (for example, HERE_US_ADVANCED), save the AdvancedGeoFeatures.zip to that location, and then extract the geo_us_nt.dir file to that location: For example, when using Data Services: <DataServicesInstallLocation>\SAP BusinessObjects \Data Services\DataQuality\reference_data\HERE_US_ADVANCED.
