Software Professional SERVICES Control Your Shop. Secure Your Future.

Shoptech Professional Services Shoptech provides a variety of services to help customers fully integrate The E2 Shop System into their business processes. We can assist with the implementation and use of the software by evaluating your business and helping match the software s capabilities with your company s operations. Shoptech provides technical support, training, implementation services and custom development services to get you "up and running" as quickly as possible. Technical Support The Technical Support Department at Shoptech, Inc. is uniquely qualified to answer questions on all of our products from any one of the shops running the E2 Shop System, because many of them have actual experience working in job shops before joining our team! When you call for support, you don t have to worry if your technician knows what a router is or not! They are familiar with all the terminology of a job shop and have the practical experience to back it up. No other job shop software company can beat that! All of our systems come with a free 6-month support agreement. This allows our newest users to call our technical professionals in the rare event that you experience a system problem. When you call, we ensure that you speak to a live person who can promptly and courteously handle your inquiry. We realize you have a business to manage and want to make sure any problems you experience are promptly resolved. Each time someone has had to relearn a job, Support has been committed to helping them. Frank J. Anastasi, JT Manufacturing During your first six months, you will have unlimited toll-free calls to our technical support center free, unlimited upgrades to your software a free subscription to our monthly update FAX and the quarterly customer newsletter, The Router. Support Line: 1-800-677-9640 Mon Thu 8:30 am to 7:00 pm EST Fri 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST Support FAX: (513) 794-7789

Training Services No software package can be successfully implemented without the proper training. This is where the experience of our Account Managers and Consultants can be used to identify the best way to get your shop "up and running" on the E2 Shop System in the shortest possible time. There are a variety of training options to meet every customer s needs. Classroom Training Our In-house, state of the art training centers ensure new users will receive the best "hands on" training that can be offered. Select from four locations: Irvine, CA; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; and Rocky Hill, CT. There are several levels of classroom training provided by Shoptech, Inc. at each location. Working Knowledge This is what we consider "Basic Training!" This three-day session provides everything you need to get started. It includes Table Maintenance, Estimating, Quotations, Orders, Purchase Orders, Job Requirements, Receiving, Shipping, AR Billing, AP Invoicing, GL, and Reporting. Beginners and new hires should join us for this class so they can see how the whole system flows and builds from the Estimate. These classes are provided free of charge on an unlimited basis. Advanced Scheduling This class is for advanced users of the E2 Shop System who are ready to use the software to identify scheduling situations before they become problems. You ll start with the basics of scheduling and then identify the processes within E2 that affect scheduling. You ll take away a complete understanding of how to use the Scheduler after you practice using our Scheduling tools! User s should have used the Shop System for at least 6 months and have a thorough knowledge of Order Entry and Job Planning. Advanced Job Costing This class is for advanced users of the E2 Shop System who are ready to learn how E2 can help them keep the winners and toss the loser jobs! You ll start with the basics of job costing and then identify the processes within E2 that affect costing. You ll leave with the ability to locate and interpret job costing information in the Shop System after you practice profitability analysis using E2 s job costing tools! User s should have used the Shop System for at least 6 months and have a thorough knowledge of Order Entry, Purchasing, and Receiving. My light finally went on and I would highly recommend going to the class to anyone starting the system. The trainer had immediate answers to all my questions and the manual was out of sight!" Robin Filip, HM Manufacturing Custom Classrooms Reserve the training facility at any of our four locations and our team of trainers will create training tailored specifically for you and your employees. We ll use your data in real-life scenarios to help you work through the nuts and bolts of how the E2 Shop System can be utilized effectively and efficiently on your shop floor.

Training Services On-Site Training On-Site training at your shop is tailored specifically to your needs. Your trainer works closely with you before the actual training to locate the kinks you need worked out. We use your data, in your own environment. You have virtually no downtime since employees don t have to miss day to day responsibilities. Phone Consultation Ever had a problem that you knew could be cleared up in an hour if you just had one Shoptech specialist all to yourself? Phone Consultations are the answer! This is the perfect way to learn about specific components of the E2 Shop System in short, manageable segments of time. Have questions about RFQs and Vendor Cost Analysis? Are you wondering about What If Scheduling and how it might work for you? Problems with Bank Reconciliation? Have one of our specialists schedule a time that s convenient for you and walk you through it. Internet Training Here s the way of the future! Login to www.shoptech.com and hook up with some fellow users for two hours of online training in the subject of your choice. Just look through the list of offerings and sign up. Join in at the scheduled time and learn from one of our experienced trainers. Implementation Services Our Account Managers are ready to help you once the sale has been made and you have the software in hand! Each customer is assigned an Account Manager who will be available to you for help along the way as you get up and running and on a continual basis when questions arise that need more specialized care than a Tech Support call can provide. Your Account Manager will serve as your key company contact. Most of our Account Managers have been promoted from the Technical Support Department so they are very knowledgeable of the software and can assist you in making the correct choices. Your Account Manager will stay in close contact with you during your first six months and provide you with all the tools you ll need to get the best results from your software purchase. Once we went through our on-site training, we were up and running in three weeks!" Don Rivers, E.R.W., Inc.

Consulting Services Our Consultants are ready to take over where the Account Managers leave off! These are the professionals you will deal with when additional training is needed that can be specifically targeted for an area of your shop or a particular function. The consultant for your area will contact you to develop your training agenda and set the time when it s most convenient for your shop to have someone working with your staff. On-Site training is the best vehicle for learning since we use your data, equipment, and real-life scenarios. Development Services Our Development team is available to help you with special EXEs and Reporting needs, Advanced Searches and Hot Spots. Our team of talented developers will work closely with you to ensure that you get what you need from the E2 Shop System. Special EXEs can be written to meet advanced reporting needs that cannot be accomplished with Crystal reports alone. Crystal Reports can be customized to provide the key information you need. Advanced Searches, Hot Spots, and Triggers are SQL Statements that rely heavily on the tables maintained in the Shop System. These can be organized in limitless ways to provide you with the exact information you re looking for. Always need to find all the Orders for a particular salesperson for customers in a certain city or state? We can write an Advanced Search that is always available for your employees to run. Like to design your own ad hoc reports with the specific pieces of information you need? We can help you create a Hot Spot so you ll always have that information at your fingertips. Have you always wanted to know in advance when a Job was going to be late for that one big customer? Triggers can be set to give you advance warning so you can rearrange your schedule and work force to meet the deadline. We re confident the E2 Shop System will be able to handle whatever we ultimately decide to pursue. The opportunities seem endless as Shoptech does an excellent job of upgrading the package continually." Ron Gronbeck, Jr, PDQ

Publications The Router Our quarterly newsletter highlights the latest at Shoptech, Inc along with New customers. You ll also find a useful Tech Tip from the Development Department and a Frequently Asked Question detailed from Support. The Training Update keeps you posted on all our new offerings. We also feature one customer in each newsletter. Monthly Support Newsletter The Support Department produces a monthly newsletter to update maintenance customers about the latest at Shoptech, Inc. The most recent build number for current versions of the software are always supplied and timely FAQs are discussed. Announcements from Support are included as well as new happenings within the company and within the software. On-Line Tutorial From the Help menu in the E2 Shop System, you can access the on-line tutorial. This tutorial will take you through each element of the software and show you how the system is integrated. You ll also see special lessons on topics such as What If Scheduling, Hot Spots, Messaging, Quick View, QuickBooks, Customizing Grids, and Inventory Adjustments. This is a great way to see how the system works and interact with it a little. User Manuals A complete set of User Manuals is delivered with your software once you purchase it. The set includes Getting Started, Reference, User s Guide, Interfaces, Quick View, and a Reports Manual. Additional sets can be ordered or you can access the PDFs through our Downloads page at www.shoptech.com once you receive your PIN Code and password. Sharing Ideas User Forum Our User Forum is a place on our website (www.shoptech.com) where maintenance users can log on and communicate with other E2 Shop System users without leaving their desks! It s a place for users to get information and share ideas. Want to know more about the Scheduler? Find out how other companies are using it. Looking for a good Payroll Interface? Check in with some other users and see what everyone else is using. Considering Data Collection? Talk to a user who s had it in place for two years! Have a good system for closing your month? Share it with someone who s just getting started with the financial end of the E2 Shop System! It s a place where you can talk with other business owners and hear how they manage the same issues you face! Members can post, read, and reply to messages from other users via e-mail. Ask questions, get tips and tricks, post responses, and get hands-on advice. All current users with maintenance agreements are welcome to join. Just go to the Customer Support area of our website and click on Forum Sign-up at the top of the screen. Just complete the short form, select your mailing list preference, and submit your query! We ll process it that same day and once you receive your login, password, and link to the forum via e-mail, you can begin participating! User Conferences These practical "workshops" give you added insight to every aspect of the E2 Shop System. And, it s a great way to meet other users, exchange ideas, and get to know some of the Shoptech staff. We ve held our conference in Northern Kentucky; Cincinnati, OH; and Las Vegas, NV! Hundreds of users across North America join us once a year for two days packed with practical information and two evenings of all American fun major league baseball, gourmet food, stage shows, and casino gambling! Each year, Shoptech, Inc. hosts a User Conference to provide intensive, targeted training, and sneak previews of what s to come in future versions. We hold over a dozen workshops covering topics such as: Scheduling Job Costing Estimating Customizing E2 Reports E2 Financials Data Collection Tips & Tricks "I really enjoyed the National User Conference. I walked away with good information. The best part of the entire conference was during the last session. The trainer sat down with us one-on-one and discussed some issues we were having. That was worth the entire price of the conference!" Ken Bolte, ASPEC, Inc.
