MS in Health Promotion Management The Health Promotion Management Program is a competency-based, multidisciplinary academic program for individuals dedicated to assuming leadership positions within the health promotion industry. Established in 1980, the MS in Health Promotion Management was the first degree of its kind in the U.S. to integrate the business, science, and art of health promotion. The curriculum combines managerial skills with scientific and clinical knowledge of exercise physiology, human biochemistry, behavioral psychology, and nutrition.

MS in Health Promotion Management Students select one of the six areas of concentration we offer: Corporate Health Exercise Physiology Health Communication Health Policy Global Health Nutrition Education Internships and research projects can further tailor a program s emphasis. Graduate Certificate in Nutrition Education Designed for students who are interested in expanding their work to include nutrition education or for professionals who are involved with creating programs and implementing policy to address the obesity epidemic. This certificate is closely aligned to the MS in Health Promotion Management, which educates students to be leaders in the field of health promotion.

Graduate Certificate in Nutrition Education This program consists of18 credits and can be taken entirely online. Students apply what they learn in the classroom to practical nutrition education situations by completing short films and other media products, designing and implementing nutrition education interventions, conducting field studies, and completing diet assessments.
