Itinerary English HOW TO GET TO THE TRAINING CENTER On the D20 road, follow Airbus Helicopters exit, access the site by the main Airbus Helicopters roundabout, follow access C to arrive at AHTS. Please ask for a car pass at the welcome center on arrival. 5
Our Services COURSE ORGANIZATION Course Timetable: Monday to Thursday: From 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Friday: From 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Lunch is INCLUDED at the campus restaurant. You will lunch everyday with your instructor. Special meal upon request (i.e.: vegetarian, gluten free, halal). Transport English Several alternatives exist depending on your needs or requests. DAILY SHUTTLE An AHTS bus service runs from all hotels and residences in Aix-en-Provence, morning and evening (morning pick-up schedule given on p.9). The bus service is included in the offer to customers who book their hotels through the training center. Otherwise, the shuttle costs 15 per day. TAXI Our team will be happy to help you book a taxi. Security Rules and Regulations SECURITY PASS You will be given a private security pass on your arrival. It will allow you to walk around freely, but ONLY within the training center area (T7 and T10 buildings excepted). If you have to enter the Airbus Helicopters site, you will have to be accompanied by a training center staff member at all times. COMPUTER AND TABLET CLEARANCE If you decide to bring your laptop computer or your tablet, please declare it on your arrival at our Front desk. Also, free Wi-Fi access is available in the Reception Lounge on request. DRESS CODE AND EQUIPMENT We request a dress code which is suitable to your activity. Personal protection and safety equipment must be used when stipulated. For the practical technician courses, safety shoes are required and will be provided if needed. Equipment must be worn when indicated. For flight instruction, trainees must respect enforced regulation and wear the compulsory protective equipment, according to the type of flight. CAMERA AND CAMCORDER Important: the use of cameras and video recording equipment is strictly forbidden within Airbus Helicopters Training Services facilities. 10

Useful Information DRIVING CODE Road signs are similar with the European Highway Code. Cars drive on the right-hand side of the road. The normal speed limit is 50 km/h in cities and 90 km/h in rural areas. There is a system of toll highways, the speed is limited to 130 km/h (110km/h in wet weather). ELECTRICITY Voltage: 220V Frequency: 50Hz Plug: standard continental (two circular pins) CURRENCY AND PAYMENT The Euro ( ) is the currency used in France. You can pay by cash or credit card. You can change your currency before your departure at your bank or on arrival at the airport in a «bureau de change» counter. The most accepted credit cards are Visa or MasterCard. Note that bank commissions may be charged for international payments. SMOKING There is a strict no smoking ban in all French public areas such as airports, restaurants, bars or shops. 12
