Introduction WatchDox provides a comprehensive training program that promotes user adoption and delivers extensive administrator education. The document below provides an overview of the available Training Services and key deliverables, as well as an outline of the recommended training process for new enterprises. Training Services Overview WatchDox offers Training Sessions to three specific audiences: Administrators End Users Trainers (Train the Trainer) Below are the course outlines for each of the designated audiences. Administration Training This course is held with the designated WatchDox system administrators. It covers an introduction to the Administration Console within the WatchDox web application. Administration Console o Management Provision user roles and manage user devices o Logs and Reports Run document activity reports for workspaces, exchange, or specific users o Protection Policies Set organization-wide policies for workspaces, exchange, mobile, and sync Create custom watermarks o Configuration Configure system-level settings Authentication method, mobile sharing, file retention Set default sharing permissions o Branding Customize logo and links in the web application End-User Training This course is held with end-users of WatchDox within the organization (non-administrators or power users). This course will cover WatchDox features and functionality as they apply to the specific use-cases and workflows at the organization. This can include all functionality of WatchDox across platforms, or specific features that are included in the organization s use and implementation of WatchDox. It covers WatchDox features and functionality across platforms. In addition, specific workflows and use-cases can be included in this training. Training Services: Process Overview Below are the relevant stages that the Watchdox team will work with an enterprise on to ensure maximum value of Watchdox Training Services is delivered. Needs Assessment The first step in the training process is to identify the following: Business Use Case(s) In order to provide the most relevant training to administrators and end users, all use cases must be determined prior to training. Key Stakeholders All key stakeholders should be involved in the training process to help identify the unique needs of the organization. Training Requirements Based on the use case(s) and organization training requirements, a training plan will be developed for Administrators, Trainers, and End Users. Recommended Training Plan Below is the recommended training plan (in sequential order) for new enterprises, however, training plans will be customized to fit the individual needs of an organization. 1. Administrator Training: The first session will be held with the designated administrator(s) and will cover the relevant sections of the administration console based on business use case(s). (1 hour WebEx session x2) 2. Administrator Follow-up Session: Approximately one week after initial training, an additional training session is recommended to address specific questions and refine workflows. (1 hour WebEx session x2) 3. Train the Trainers: Train the trainer sessions will be conducted with organization training staff. Trainers will be informed of the workflow determined by the administrator and trained on the WatchDox platform. (1 hour WebEx session x2) 4. End User Training: End user sessions will be administered according to specific business unit use case(s). These sessions may are performed by WatchDox training staff. (1-hour WebEx session, with a 1-hour WebEx session) Delivery of Key Learning Assets The following assets will be provided in alignment with the Needs Assessment and Recommended Training Plan: Documentation Administrator Guide End User Guide End User Quick Start Guides Help Desk FAQ Guide Videos WatchDox provides video tutorials that cover topics such as, workspaces, sync, mobile applications and more. Getting Started Page WatchDox has developed a Getting Started web page that includes a series of instructions and video tutorials meant to show new WatchDox users how to sign in and access WatchDox. This also provides instructions for basic activities, such as sending documents and sharing workspaces. Interactive Tour As part of the first time user experience, WatchDox has incorporated a product tour into our web application that includes quick tips to take new users through application.
