These settings appear on the Configuration tab of the Nasuni Filer user interface. Details of Volume Configuration You can use the worksheet below to plan the features of a volume: Explanation Encryption Keys: Encryption key to encrypt this volume with. Select an existing key. Protocol: The protocol or protocols of the volume: CIFS, NFS, or iscsi, or a combination of CIFS, NFS, and FTP. Permissions Policy: If multiple protocols are enabled, the selected permissions policy for the protocols. Snapshot Directory Access: If selected, users can access snapshot directories within the share. Quota: The maximum capacity of this volume, in GB. To specify unlimited capacity (up to the licensed capacity), enter zero or leave blank. Remote Access: Enable or disable access to this volume by other Nasuni Filers in your account. Snapshot Schedule: Current schedule of snapshots. You can specify days and times for snapshots. Snapshot Retention: Specify which snapshots to retain. File Alert Service: Trigger alerts for specified file name patterns. Value Encryption Keys: Select key. Protocol: CIFS / NFS / iscsi / FTP Permissions Policy: UNIX/NFS Permissions Only Mode / NTFS Compatible Mode / POSIX Mixed Mode / Unauthenticated Access Mode Snapshot Directory Access: Select /Unselect Quota: Remote Access: Start time: Stop time: Snapshot Retention: all snapshots / a set number of snapshots / snapshots within a given time File Alert Service: Patterns: Antivirus Service: Enable or disable antivirus protection.
