Request Time Off All Employees Click on My Time Off Select Create New Request Select Leave Type FMLA/OFLA/Military or Vacation/Sick/Other Select Pay Code, Date(s), and add comment If less than 8 hours then click on hours and type in number of hours Select Submit Note: An exception warning will be generated if the leave balance is not sufficient to cover the number of requested hours. 3

Reporting Time - Classified Non-Exempt, Classified Hourly, Temps, Students To report hours Select Go To Web Clock Select Clock In at beginning of shift; Clock Out at end of shift If forget to clock in at arrival or clock out when leaving then clock in or out when you remember to avoid missing punches and edit the time in My Timesheet Do not clock out/in for lunch system defaults to 1 hour meal period and can be overridden by a schedule assigned by supervisor or edited in My Timesheet. 5
Editing Time - Classified Non-Exempt, Classified Hourly, Temps, Students To edit hours Valid reasons for adjusting clock time include computer issues preventing use of web clock, assisting customers at start of shift and unable to clock, missed in or out punch. Select Enter My Hours Select Pay Period Enter the correct time on the Clock Time Add a comment for your supervisor Save changes 6
Editing Time - Classified Non-Exempt, Classified Hourly, Temps, Students To add hours Valid reasons for adding clock time include computer issues preventing use of web clock or clock is unavailable. Select Enter My Hours Select Pay Period Select day to enter time Select Pay Code from drop down Enter Time in Hour column Add a comment for your supervisor Save changes To Submit Timesheet Review timesheet for any exceptions Review Exceptions Tab Review Results Tab Submit Timesheet 7

Editing Time - Classified Exempt, Unclassified Exempt, Unclassified Non- Exempt, Unclassified Hourly Note: Exempt employees only need to report exceptions on timesheet. Example vacation or sick leave that was not requested in advance; vacation or sick leave requested is different than actual taken. Approving Time Off Requests Supervisors will receive email when new time off request is submitted Access the request either from the Dashboard or Time Off Summary page Exceptions tab will list any exceptions associated with the request (leave not available or exceeds balance available) Supervisors should review the exceptions prior to approving the request Click Approve to approve request and add comments if needed. Time off requests cannot be changed. The supervisor can reject the request so employee can resubmit or employee can cancel and resubmit. 11
Editing and Approving Time Sheets To Edit Time Sheets Select Edit Employee Time Find Employee or select from drop down list Select Pay Period Review and edit hours for employee edits should be limited and include comments Recommend that employees edit timesheets or submit written request for supervisor To Approve Time Sheets Select Approve Time Sheets Review Hours Select Approval Select Save Approval 12
Assigning Schedules Individual schedules can be assigned to employees Select Assign Schedules Select employee Select pay code to be added Enter hours Add pay codes and hours to days being scheduled can use copy row, copy entire day, copy entire week Save Group schedules can be assigned for all employees Select Manage Group Schedules Select employee group Select employees and/or days Select Add or Edit under Group Entry Select Pay Code Enter times for the selected days and pay codes Save 13
Delegating Supervisory Authority Supervisors may delegate authority if/when they will be out of the office for a period of time and will not have access to EmpCenter. Delegated supervisor will be able to approve time sheets, time off requests, assign schedules, and edit employee time. Select Manage Delegations Select Delegate Authority Select Assignment Group for Delegation Enter effective start and end date Search for supervisor to delegate to and select 14
