Guidance Notes for Users The List of Contractors has been prepared according to records available in the files of Contractors registered with this Ministry and will be placed on the data base of suppliers maintained by the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, LT & S (web site- http://public.infrastructure.gov.mu). Any error/omission which might have been made, through inadvertence, may be clarified by contacting the Architect Office at Phoenix. This data base will be used for the purpose of inviting bids through Request for Sealed Quotations and Restricted Bidding Methods, by public bodies. However, your attention is drawn on the following:- (a) (i) (ii) (iii) Conditions applicable to Local and Foreign Contractors Contractors are expected to submit an offer in accordance with the grade under which they are registered; Contractors are not allowed to tender for government projects launched prior to their registration date; The addendum/addenda which will be issued to you after our first quarterly exercise should be consulted together with this list. (b) (c) Conditions applicable to Foreign Contractors only Foreign Contractors are allowed to tender only for government projects financed by International Funding Agencies subject to the approval of the Funding Agencies. Disciplinary Action for Poor Performance The Ministry of Public Infrastructure reserves the right to report the matter to the Procurement Policy Office for appropriate action in Poor Performance, Submission of False Information, Inability to renew Bank Financial Standing, Bankruptcy, Breach of Contract, etc
