Curriculum Vitae Name: Wim Honders Summary Lecturer, researcher, creative director, consultant. My specialties are visual communication/branding, creative consultancy, design and cross-media (print/online/transmedia). As a creative director, I have worked for various major agencies in the creative industry, including my own companies, such as Boomerang Publishing. As a lecturer, I teach university students (visiting lecturer Al Akhawayn University, Ifrane, Morocco; guest lecturer at various Dutch universities such as Radboud University and VU University; lecturer School of Communication, Media & Music, Inholland University of Applied Arts). I have also taught media/communication/marketing professionals in the industry through intermediairies like Artemis Academy, Miami Ad School, De Redactie or incompany programmes. Research: as a fellow at the Lectorate CBRD (Crossmedia, Branding, Reputation Management and Design Management). Intermittent research with respect to cross-media and visual communication.

October 2008-January 2010 (more than a year) Manager of Hemels Academy at Hemels Publishers, Hilversum I concepted and implemented a comprehensive (cross-media, visual and creative/effective) training programme for (nearly) all employees of Hemels Publishers (editors, designers, art directors, sales force) as well as their clients. Hemels Publishers ranks among the top three of customer media publishers, publishing cross-media for major (automotive) brands such as Mercedes and Toyota. October 2006-October 2008 (two years) Creative director/co-owner, Boomerang Publishing, Amsterdam I ran this company for two years along with two other directors. Boomerang Publishing has become a major success, ranking as a major player in the customer media branche (SMin). October 2006-October 2008 Trainer, Miami Ad School, Amsterdam September 1996-October 2006 (ten years) Scripta Media/Weekbladpers, Amsterdam Creative director During these ten years, I have mastered all tricks of the (customer media) trade (communications/branding/advertising). I participated in Scripta s management team and was responsible for the creative management of this top three player, its acquisition, creative concepting, team building, implementation/production, budgetting, creative awards etc.
