Consolidated Report System
Create a report template 1. Click the Start button in IGSS Master. 2. Click the Reports pane. 3. Right-click inside the pane and select Add. 4. Type the name of the report template. The template can include multiple reports one on each Excel sheet.
Design the report Working folder Temporary folder where report templates are edited. Check Out / Edit Check out the report template for editing. In a multiuser system, the end users will still use the existing report template.
Check out and edit in Excel 1. Check out the report template. 2. If the template exists, the dialog below appears. 3. Click OK and the report template is loaded in Excel.
Define the report tags 1. Enter the static information of the report (report title and column titles). 2. Find the first object, q1, in the IGSS Data pane. 3. Drag the required atom into the target cell. 4. In the Historical Data dialog box, do the following: Under Reduction or parameter, select Sum. Under Interval, select 1 day. Click Fetch. Click Calculate.
Preview the report 1. Select the output options. 2. Select Excel or HTML output. The final report as the end user will see it.
Close Excel and check in 1. Close Excel and save the report template. 2. Go back to IGSS Master. 3. Click Check In. 4. Click Yes to overwrite the current template. Check In Overwrites the current report template with the new one from the working folder.
Generate the report as an end user Report period Define the start and stop time. The default period is applied initially. Generate Click this button to generate and save the report in the report folder (specified under Report Options). Select output type Select print preview, Excel or HTML output.

Creating a Maintenance job 1. On the Configuration tab, click New Job. 2. Under Job Type, select Used Time. 3. In the list of objects, select the pump p1. 4. Click OK. Type Periodical Counter Used Time Changes Description Fixed maintenance interval Fixed value or counter Hours of operation (digital only) Number of state changes (digital only)
Define the maintenance job 1. In the Alarm fired when job is due field, select the alarm to link to the maintenance job. This triggers that the reminder appears in both the Maintenance and the Alarm List. 2. Click the Use Alarm Text button to insert it as the title. 3. Specify the maintenance interval. 4. Select the ON state. Only this state will be monitored. 5. Enter the next interval in the Next job after field. 6. Enter instructions on the Job Description tab. 7. Link to an electronic manual on the File tab.
Handling maintenance alarms 1. Select the job in the list. 2. Click View Description to view text instructions. 3. Click View Job File to view linked files. 4. Click Acknowledge (works in both Alarm and Maintenance) 5. Click Complete when job has been done.

Enhancements in IGSS V9
Online change of alarm properties Sometimes the end user wants to change the alarm priority. This is now possible during online supervision. 1. Click the object on the diagram. 2. Choose Properties in the menu. 3. Go to the Edit Mapping tab. 4. Select the alarm atom you want to change and click Edit. 5. Change the alarm priority. 6. Click OK. The change is now applied also to all other stations in a multiuser system.

Convert projects directly in IGSS Master All IGSS projects from IGSS V4 and upwards will now be converted directly when opened in IGSS Master. The version will be automatically recognized and converted to IGSS V9 format.
