The integration of space-time technology and GIS platform can provide a more comprehensive and effective framework
6 for the spatiotemporal data assimilation, analysis, and modeling. It is expected that our framework for the analysis of the space-time data is able to apply to National Health Insurance Research database. Role: Co-PI Completed Research Support DOH 101-DC-1303 Hwa-Lung Yu (PI) 01/01/2012-12/31/2013 Centers for Disease Control, Taiwan Predicting spatiotemporal distribution of dengue fever across Taiwan under climate change impact The major goal of the project is to investigate the major impact factors, including weather variables (such as temperature and rainfall), environmental variables (such as landuse and vegetation index), and social or human factors (e.g. population density) on dengue fever incidence. We will also predict weather variables and their associated factors under climate change scenarios, then use stochastic spatiotemporal model or dynamic system model to build the prediction model for dengue fever epidemics.
