CHAPTER I: LOGGING INTO THE JIGSAW MEETING IPAD APP 1. Select the gears button in the top right hand corner of the JAM app. 2. Type in your email address and password. 3. Tap the login button. 4. Once logged in the gears button gives you access to edit your profile information, check your camera settings, select audible notifications, logout or to visit Jigsaw Meeting s website. 3
5. To access any meeting that you have been invited to as an attendee, tap the Meetings button in the top left hand corner of the Jigsaw Meeting app. 6. Then tap on the meeting name you wish to join.! You are only allowed to join a meeting if you have been invited as an Attendee. Since you are only allowed to join a meeting using the JSM App as an attendee you cannot be handed control of the meeting. 4
CHAPTER II: JIGSAW MEETINGS VIRTUAL CLASSROOM APP The Jigsaw Meeting ipad app allows the attendee to participate in a meeting with minimal restrictions as compared to the desktop platform. The following assets are not available to the attendee via the Jigsaw Meeting ipad app. Desktop or Application Sharing Map Image Gallery Noteboard Applications Attachments Once you are logged into the Jigsaw Meeting ipad application you will notice that it is organized similar to the desktop platform. The application is divided into a left side bar, two main panes and a right side bar. 5
1. The right side bar displays the Meeting Participants and the Text Chat windows. ATTENDEE WINDOW The Attendee window lists all the people logged into the meeting. Each person attending has a unique role. Host: This person created the meeting and controls all aspects of the meeting. That button is not visible because you are the person creating the meeting. Presenter: (Green Participant) This person can upload assets to a meeting and may be given control of the meeting while in session. Attendee: This person can attend the meeting and work collaboratively within the meeting. They can talk during a meeting if the meeting was setup to use VoIP. But, they cannot present during the meeting. 6
A green microphone identifies the person currently speaking. With VoIP Pushto-Talk only one person can speak at a time. All other microphones will be gray. If the audio method selected is VoIP with open microphones all participants are required to wear a headset. A black camera signifies the person has enabled their webcam and can be brought into the streaming video. A line through the camera signifies the camera is not enabled. A black chalk signifies the person has access to the Group Whiteboard. A gray chalk means they do not have access. A yellow star indicates who is currently presenting in the session. A session may be handed over to a new presenter by simply clicking on the star by the new presenter s name. A gray star means that person is not the presenter. TEXT CHAT The Attendee using the Jigsaw Meeting ipad app has the ability to type in the public text chat or send a private chat to the current presenter.. 7
Tap in the chat box and your ipad keyboard activates. Once you are finished typing simply tap on the send button. To send a private chat tap on the words public chat for a menu to appear that allows you to select Chat to presenter. You would repeat those steps to return to the public chat.! Private chat is available between Presenter and Attendee only. 8

PRESENTER CONTROLLED AND ATTENDEE CONTROLLED PANES The Presenter controls Pane 1. The Presenter may stream video, play a pre-recorded video or play an audio file. The Presenter may also display a PowerPoint presentation in Pane 2. The Attendee controls what is viewed in Pane 2. Once assets are released by the presenter the attendee may view the Presenters presentation, independently view a video, take a survey, review released presentations or collaborate on the whiteboard. 1 2 11
PANE 1 OR PRESENTER PANE The Presenter may stream video and invite any attendee into the stream. If you are on the Jigsaw Meeting ipad app and are invited into the streaming video you will see a start button appear on your screen in the lower right hand corner of Pane 1. STREAMING VIDEO Once your video has started you will notice that you have a button to be able to switch cameras if your ipad has a rear camera, camera setup button and a button to stop your video camera. 12
MAXIMIZE PANE 1 Swiping the down arrow between pane 1 and pane 2 will maximize pane 1. Swipe the up arrow at the bottom of Pane 1 once maximized will take it back to its original size. 10- JIGSAW MEETING BASIC TRAINING MANUAL 1.9.9 BUILD 136_V1 13
PANE 2 OR ATTENDEE PANE The Attendee controls what is viewed in Pane 2. Once assets are released by the presenter the attendee may view the Presenters presentation, independently view a video, take a survey, review released presentations or collaborate on the whiteboard. These controls are located on the left side bar. 1 2 PRESENTER VIEW. This button allows you to view what is in Pane one if Pane 2 is maximized. The presenter may be streaming video or playing a pre-recorded video. 14
PRESENTATIONS. The Presenter has the ability to show a Presentation or.pdf document in Pane 2. You may view these assets by tapping on the presentation button. 15
MY VIDEOS. Once released by the presenter you can tap on the My Videos button and the name of the video to view the videos independently in Pane 2. 16
SURVEYS. Once released by the presenter you can tap on the Survey button and the name of the survey to view the questions. 17
MY PRESENTATION. Once released by the presenter you can use the My Presentations button to view the presentation in Pane 2. You can move between the different pages of the presentation by tapping on the page numbers the bottom of Pane 2. 18
WHITEBOARD. As an ipad Attendee you have access to the collaborative group whiteboard and a personal whiteboard. You have the ability to import images from the image gallery of your meeting or your ipad. 19
3. Communicating Using the Jigsaw Meeting ipad App works the same as the desktop platform. As an Attendee using the ipad app you have the ability to speak using VoIP, public and private text chat and the private feedback to the presenter via the emoticons. TEXT CHAT. You have the ability to send a public text chat or a private chat to the presenter. VOIP. If the VoIP talk button is available you may tap on the talk button and speak using the microphone from your ipad. If the VoIp is being used the button changes to a red button. 20
RAISED HAND. If the VoIP talk button is unavailable you may tap on the icon of the raised hand to notify the presenter that you would like to speak. EMOTICONS. Use the emoticons to send private feedback to the presenter. 21
EXITING THE JIGSAW MEETING IPAD APPLICATION. To exit the meeting tap on the exit icon in the top left corner of the application. 22
