What is Piilo software? Piilo software makes HR easy. Piilo is cloud-based software delivered via PC, laptop, tablets and smartphones. To manage employees: Employee data management Time management Leave management Contract management Payroll (coming soon) Career and skills development Career and skills development allows you to create focused skills development plans for employees based on career paths and professional growth requirements. It also allows for progress updates by employees and manager reviews to ensure development is being completed. Performance management Manage your employee performance contracts and reviews online by using a 3, 5 or 10 level rating scale. The module allows for multiple employee self-assessments and manager assessments, that means you can drive your remuneration based on weighted performance scores. Performance improvement You can now manage your employee performance improvement online by creating focused performance improvement plans to address weak performance. The module provides you with the ability to log and monitor performance improvement. Disciplinary action Manage your disciplinary action online with ability to log the incident and add supporting documentation online. You can capture hearing information and attendees while allowing access for the employee and witness. Employee data management With employee data management, you can create your employee files online. This means you have one central database for all employee data with the ability to upload employee information e.g. copies of employment contracts, passports, degrees etc., You can also use this module as an online people search. This allows employees to search for coworker information where ever they are.
A third function includes the ability to publish business communication and notify employees via email and notification in their action list and mobile app. Time management With time management you can manage employee timesheet entries and approvals online. It also allows you to allocate activities to employees with start and expiry dates while providing the option to create internal and external client timesheets to make your billing easier. Leave management Manage your employee leave requests and approvals online by allocating various leave types to employees while using various leave allocation methods. Users can also view latest leave balances and upload supporting documentation, such as doctor certificates. Contract management Contract management allows you to manage your temp employees or vendor contracts online. This module creates one central database of all your contracts with automated reminders to review contracts. You can allocate access to co-workers at a contract level and have multiple contracts against a temp employee or vendor record.
Piilo Software has the following built-in functionality: Workflow (between employee and manager, ie if employee submits leave request, manager receives notice via email and Manager self service Modules can be configured to business requirements (Setup is limited to ensure we can cover most business requirements in public cloud) Admin functions to manage software and users Admin can do everything on behalf of employee and manager (2 types portal admin global read/write access, functional admin read/write limited to allocated functional module) Company brand using own company logo on software Manager self service to view and approve requests Employee self service to view notifications and requests Can manage data centrally, i.e. HR department manages all data input/output of the system or give employees access to their data to become self sufficient Businesses can allocate modules down to an employee level limit access to software modules to each employee
Authorizations help to ensure employees and managers have access to the data they require and should have access to, i.e. manager have access to all is/her employee data, but an employee only has access to their own data.

No one has access to this cloud except the company Private cloud Piilo Software is hosted by the business on their own infrastructure (managed and maintained by the company) Multi-tenancy provides the lowest cost solution with the benefits of using Microsoft s global Azure infrastructure. Cloud computing means: No software downloads Always on the latest version No infrastructure requirements Built in data security Automated backups and business continuity
Access 24x7 world wide Multi-tenancy literally means multiple businesses using the same system and infrastructure where their data is stored. A second option is single tenancy, which means the company has its own cloud without sharing it with other businesses. Single tenancy may give a higher sense of security but still provides the benefits of public clouds. It is however not as cost efficient, as a multi tenancy can give lower prices due to economies of scale. In single tenancy, the business has to pay for the software and the privilege to have a separate cloud. Cost includes setup, software subscriptions and annual maintenance fees. A third option is private cloud. This is where a company creates a cloud using their own infrastructure. Some companies feel this gives them control of the software, security and infrastructure. This is the most expensive cloud option as it requires setup, license fees, upgrade and maintenance costs. The cost for multi tenancy is based on our pricing schedule. We need to cost for single tenancy and private cloud based on the business size and requirements. How does billing work? Piilo costs US$2 per user subscription per month per module. Customers can pay monthly or annually in advance with a 10% discount for annual payments.
