The member will immediately and accurately report any sabotage, pilferage, or security violations to a supervisor and/or control room as appropriate, in accordance with agency policies. Lost or missing items will be documented and reconciled in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies/procedures. If applicable, all related paperwork such as transfer forms, disposal forms, etc. will be completed by the member in accordance with agency policies/procedures. On a regular basis or as directed, the member conducts an accurate inventory of supplies within their area of responsibility, recording the type and number of items, and documenting and reconciling any found discrepancies/shortages pursuant to agency policy. The member will carefully review the inmate's medical chart and correctly complete all information as required on the inmate transfer summary form in accordance with agency medical facility policies and FMJS regulations MD3313a Screen inmate medical requests The member screens all inmate medical requests daily and makes the appropriate referrals pursuant to agency policies and applicable FMJS regulations. MD3334 Inventory SHARPS The medical personnel will correctly log and reconcile usage of all SHARPS in accordance with appropriate regulations, and agency medical facility policies. MD3358b Administer medication The certified or licensed medical personnel will correctly prepare and administer inmate medications while maintaining the security of the medical cart pursuant to agency medical facility policies. MD3367 Prepare referrals to supervising M.D. or outside specialist The member will correctly determine and request patient referrals to either the supervising doctor or an outside specialist pursuant to FMJS regulations and agency medical facility policies. MD3390 Take vital signs The nurse or other licensed medical professional will correctly measure the inmate's vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure and pulse without causing undue pain or physical damage to the individual, pursuant to agency medical facility policies. MD3391 Draw blood The doctor, nurse or other licensed professional will correctly draw blood from the inmate or agency member without causing undue pain or physical damage to the individual, pursuant to agency medical facility policies. MD3392a Assist physician in sick call clinic The medical personnel will provide any required assistance to the physician and/or physician's assistant during sick call clinic ensuring that all appropriate procedures are carried out in accordance with agency medical facility policies. MD3392b Assist MD,PA, ARNP The medical personnel will provide any required assistance to the MD, PA and/or ARNP with sick call and minor surgical procedures when necessary, ensuring that all appropriate procedures are carried out in accordance with agency medical facility policies. MD3394 Perform inmate/patient visual check The certified or licensed medical personnel will visually verify on specified basis or as otherwise required that all inmates in the infirmary are alert and not in any type of medical/psychological distress, pursuant to agency medical facility policies. MD3396 Respond to medical emergency The medical personnel will promptly respond to a declared medical emergency and provide the correct required medical attention pursuant to FMJS regulations, applicable standards and in accordance with agency medical facility policies. MD3399 Perform screening exam The certified or licensed medical personnel will correctly and completely document the inmate's medical history and perform a physical appraisal of the individual within 14 days of the inmate being booked into the detention facility pursuant to FMJS regulations and in accordance with agency medical facility policies. MD3401 Document patient contacts The member will utilize problem oriented medical charts to accurately document all patient contacts in a timely manner.
