Equipped with an advanced driverless system, these new subway lines pass beneath the historic centers of Milan and Rome, with stations at such important locations as the Coliseum and the Vatican. The primary challenge was thus to minimize the impact of these fundamental infrastructures while preserving exceptional architectural and cultural heritage. SAUDI ARABIA Thakher City. A pilgrim s home. Thakher City will be a unique and memorable residential and hospitality based environment. The concept plan has been guided by a unique set of criteria: the experience of the Hajj pilgrim, vehicular and pedestrian mobility, the geotechnical and site accessibility issues inherent to the topographic qualities of a mountainous site, and the creation of a robust, interconnected open space network. The result is an iconic urban form that creates spectacular views, maximizes pedestrian accessibility to and from the site and responds to the demands of the development targets set forth by Thakher Real Estate Investment Company. The challenge was to build a structure capable of hosting up to 250,000 pilgrims. And build it on top of a mountain. This artistic masterpiece, capable of accommodating over 40,000 worshipers, is considered one of the world s most remarkable religious structures. Ennesys was responsible for the structural concept, working design and methods of constructing the building s eight typologies of domes. UAE ALGERIA Masdar City. Abu Dhabi. Tramways. Algiers and Constantine. The driverless PRT (Personal Rapid Transport) represents the paramount element for ensuring zero carbon internal transport and a car free city. Ennesys addressed all issues related to transportation planning and mobility in this landmark sustainable city. Ennesys contributed to the development of the first tramways in the cities of Constantine and Algiers. The company was responsible for managing the structural, architectural and MEP design of the civil works along these new tramlines, including several bridges, interchange stations and depot-office structures. Ennesys teamed up with Eni Congo in the M boundi Gas Fields to manage several EPC projects including a Separator Train, a Condensate Recovery Unit and a Medium Voltage Underground Power Line. Over the years we have acquired significant experience as a prime contractor for turnkey projects: we are also capable of offering integrated EPC and EPS services for large-scale projects.
