Talon agreed to build the device in 10 weeks. Coin Cell Powered Wireless BAN Sensors Medical Electronic Bandage Shiver Detector Shiver Sensors 1 2 Shiver Sensor shown actual size Access Point USB 6 2.4 GHz star network utilizing a Talon proprietary protocol stack PC Talon designed from scratch a robust ultra low power electronic bandage for detecting shivering in critical care patients. Talon provided: Complete system architecture HW, SW for sensors and access point A sensor designed around a CR1620 coin cell to continuously transmit 50 samples/second motion data for 4 days Minimum weight (2.7g) and size (21mm 2 ) using latest technology Talon custom radio protocol for absolute lowest power consumption 9

Soldier Worn Blast Dosimeter and Damage Calculator Body Worn Blast Detector / Calculator 27.2 mm Talon took over this project from a large defense contractor following their 1 year development effort. The original device proved the concept but was analog based and failed to perform reliably from unit to unit. Pressure Sensor CR2032 coin cell PCB with 32 bit ARM microcontroller/dsp, High Speed Radio and RFID Talon provided: Complete Digital Signal Processing (DSP) system architecture enabling extremely low unit to unit variability DSP algorithm development and verification using MATLAB Coin cell operation of 2 years @ 5,000 events per day. Wireless reader for data event download 10

Small Format Tactical Radio System Tactical Radio System Talon took the customer s requirements and quickly responded with a prototype for evaluation.
