Welcome Thank you for considering Taylor University Dining Services for you catering needs. Taylor Dining welcomes you! Whether you are hosting a business meeting or social function, our service-oriented team is eager to assist you in making your event at Taylor University a memorable occasion. We cater almost any type of event including, but not limited to, served banquets, buffets, receptions, and wedding parties. We are committed to providing our clients with quality service and beautifully catered events within our superior facilities. We believe that successful events start with early planning! We look forward to working with you to customize your event to make it a unique experience. The following information is provided to you as a guide to planning your event and as a reference to Taylor University Dining Services policies. We have a wide variety of menu options that will fit your event perfectly. Our Executive Chef is also available to help you plan a customized menu if you are looking for something unique. Planning Your Event 3

Reservations & Inquiries! For inquiries, or to reserve your on-campus meeting space, please call the Catering Office at (765) 998-5374. Our catering manager will gladly meet with you to discuss menu options and other important aspects of your function. All on-site meals include complete linen service, table service, floral bud vase and appropriate staffing. Requests for use of podium, microphone, piano or audio-visual equipment must be made through the Catering Office. Any event catered or delivered on campus; not held in Hodson Commons, will incur an additional charge of 15% plus extra incurred labor. Local (within Upland) catered/delivered events away from Taylor s campus will be charged 20% plus extra incurred labor. Those groups or events that require additional equipment, dish or tent rentals will have those charges added to their final billing. Custom Menu Planning! For those groups wishing to create a custom menu not listed in the guide or varied from the guide will ensure special pricing. Special Diets and Allergen Program! Special diet requests will gladly be taken care of, but will require at least a 72 hour advance notice, prior to the event. All menu items in this guide will be accompanied by allergen information if they contain any of the eight major food allergens. This allergen information will also be provided the day of the event to your guests. Guest Count & Menu Confirmation Please call the Catering Office at (765) 998-5374. Seven business days prior to your scheduled event date to confirm your guest count and menu selection. Any changes made within seven days may not be able to be accommodated. You will be billed for your guaranteed number or the actual count, whichever is greater. Food and seating will be provided for five percent above your guaranteed count. Children under 12 will be charged at half price. Children three and under are free of charge. Event Cancellations For cancellations, please contact the Catering Office at (765) 998-5374 72 hours in advance to avoid any charges. Any cancellations within 72 hours could incur charges up to the full price of the event. Billing All services provided will be billed through Taylor University Dining Services Catering Office. Any meal, reception or coffee service scheduled prior to 7:00 a.m. or begins after 7:00 p.m. will be subject to a 15% service charge. Price quotations are subject to change. Food & Beverage Services for Campus Events All food and beverages must be supplied by Taylor University Dining Services. No food or beverages may be brought onto the Taylor University campus meant for group functions. Local and state regulations prohibit food and beverages to be removed from the premises following an event. Alcohol & Tobacco Policy Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are not permitted on premises. Taylor University does not in any way handle beverages containing alcohol at off-site events. 4
