ACECQA An Independent National Statutory Authority ACECQA provides national leadership to support the implementation of the National Quality Framework. ACECQA is responsible for promoting quality and continuous improvement in early childhood education and care and outside school hours care in Australia. ACECQA works with and guides the state and territory governments to implement changes that will benefit young children and their families. ACECQA monitors and promotes the consistent application of the Education and Care Services National Law across all states and territories.
National Quality Agenda IT System (NQA ITS) NQA ITS is a central system that implements business processes and data standards of the NQF NQA ITS brings together information under the NQF from the States and Territories NQA ITS is the line of business application for users in each regulatory authority NQA ITS allows providers and certified supervisors to submit applications/notifications directly to their relevant regulatory authority
NQA ITS Key User Groups Regulatory Authority Staff are the main users of the system and perform a variety of tasks ACECQA is responsible for the management, day to day operations, development and support of the system Australian Government extracts variety of data for reporting and updating relevant websites Public are education and care services, providers, certified supervisors. Views information and submits applications/notifications to comply with legislative requirements

Provided Managed Services Availability management what guarantees, provisions for disaster and support processes are in place to the business regarding service availability. Capacity management what volume and performance monitoring and forecasting processes are in place Incident management what guarantees around response and resolution are in place when an incident our outage occurs Problem management what provisions are in place for managing longer term problems as opposed to shorter term incidents, e.g. workarounds, flow through to change management Change management what processes are in place and guarantees around quality control and delivery of changes to any element of the service, including release management Security management what standards, provisions and pro-active measures and notifications are in place for information security, integrity and access requests Asset management what provisions are in place for managing, reporting and planning around hardware and software assets e.g. maintenance, currency of software and firmware etc
