Central New Mexico Community College Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Multicultural Education, Birth- 3 rd Grade Teacher Concentration and New Mexico Highlands University Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Multicultural Education Transfer Agreement Fall 2015 Summer 2016 Students completing the Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Multicultural Education, Birth-3 rd Grade Teacher Concentration at Central New Mexico Community College can apply those credits and courses directly toward the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Multicultural Education at New Mexico Highlands University. Upon completion of the coursework prescribed within this transfer agreement, students will have earned an A.A. in Early Childhood Multicultural Education, Birth-3 rd Grade Teacher Concentration, guaranteed admissions to NMHU, classified as a junior, complete appropriate prerequisites for Junior standing in the B.A. in Early Childhood Multicultural Education degree program, and have the NMHU institutional Physical Education and Language Competency core requirements waived. In addition, the remaining requirements for the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Multicultural Education can be completed at NMHU s Rio Rancho Campus.
