Alternate Barcodes Pricing & Cost Pricing works like this: Manual pricing takes precedent over everything else. Then contract pricing, promotional, discount group, and finally price column pricing. An item flows through each level until a price is found. If the best price or best cost method is configured for that account then the pricing engine will always process all levels and then determine the best price/cost to use. 9
Each account can be assigned a price class. If there are no column prices specified for an item, then everyone is going to get list price. After the column pricing, it goes to list price, then finally retail price. If you do not have anything under retail price, then you do not have a price. Trade Cost The trade cost is what would be found in the pricing file, such as Trade Service. True Cost The true cost would be your cost. You can use a formula to calculate this value. If you place a check box next to the true cost, then it will be updated from the master database. Otherwise, it will remain fixed to your customized value. 2013 Savance 10
Buying & Selling Cost You can set which field you would like for the buying and selling costs by selecting it from the dropdown. Price Columns There are 5 pricing columns available for use. Column 5 is the best price. You can base all the column prices off the cost. For example, you can multiply the true cost by a percentage. When this cost changes, column prices change. You can also base columns 1-4 off column 5, and column 5 off cost. If you place a check box next to the column price, then the associated column will be updated from the master database. Otherwise, the column will remain fixed to your customized value. User-defined Cost There are 5 cost columns available to customize. They can also be based off trade cost, true cost, or other desired fields by using a formula. You can also rename these 5 fields to anything you want by clicking the name and entering a new one. 11
Formula Designer You are able to use a formula to calculate some pricing and cost fields. These fields include True Cost, Column 1-5 Prices, and User-defined Cost 1-5. After hitting the icon, the Formula Designer will open. The available pricing and cost fields are available to choose on the left. The available math formulas are on the right. In this example, you are setting your True Cost to be 10% higher than Trade Cost. Discount Code Select a Discount Code from the dropdown list. The discount codes will be loaded on the Column 15 Prices and the List Price. Hit the magnifying glass icon next to the Discount Code dropdown to open the Multiplier Management screen. Here, you can Add New, Edit, and Delete discount codes and specify the multipliers. 2013 Savance 12

Manage Master Inventory The Manage Master Inventory screen is very similar to the Import From Master screen you previously used.
