EXTRA Symposium Leading, Sustaining and Spreading Healthcare Innovation in Canada The Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI) is pleased to welcome you to the invitational EXTRA Symposium: Leading, Sustaining and Spreading Healthcare Innovation in Canada. We are thrilled to be hosting the EXTRA Symposium in the beautiful city of Saguenay. It s called the Land of the Giants for good reason. Dramatic cliffs rise above the Saguenay Fjord, sculpted by ancient, powerful glaciers and the surging sea. So impressed was explorer Jacques Cartier that, in 1625, he named the vast region, equal in size to Belgium, The Kingdom of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean. The stunning landscape, with its storied history, offers tremendous opportunities for sports, cultural and urban enthusiasts, foodies and history buffs alike. Come mingle with the Bleuets*! (*The term locals proudly use, in honor of the bountiful blueberry.) We hope you find this to be both a memorable reunion of EXTRA fellows and a significant event that will help shape a renewed EXTRA Program. Sincerely, Maureen O Neil O.C.
