First Page Google Results Through Blogging Get First Page Google Ranks by simply Writing and Posting a Blog Article Copyright Randombyte. All Rights Reserved.

Writing blog articles that land on Google s first page is an easy way to promote your business; you can achieve great results by simply following the guidelines below. First of all, make sure to choose a long-tail keyword as a title for your article. A long-tail keyword is a combination of 3 or more words utilized by the people who are using a search engine to look up something. As an example, cream isn t a long-tail keyword, but good cheap anti aging cream is a good long-tail keyword, so let s use it. Type good cheap anti aging cream (without using the quotes) in Google; you will see that you ll get over 4 million results. That might look like a lot of competition, but we shouldn t worry about it; Google includes many web pages that aren t optimized for this particular long-tail keyword in its index.

Add the allintitle operator to the search string; it should look just like this (once again, without using the quotes): allintitle:good cheap anti aging cream Can you believe this? We ve only got 3 competitors now! This time, Google has only returned the web pages that have their title optimized for our long-tail keyword: good cheap anti aging cream. Time to go to Google s Keyword Tool; use the link below: https://adwords.google.com/select/keywordtoolexternal or type Google Keyword Tool in Google and you ll discover the tool quickly.

Type in your long-tail keyword in the Word or phrase (one per line) box, type in the verification code in the box right above the Search button, and then click the Search button. If you have input the verification code correctly, you should see something like this:

As you can see, Google doesn t show any number of monthly searches - this explains the small number of competitors. At this point you have got 2 options: you can continue to use this long-tail keyword, knowing that you ve got good chances to get a good Google rank for it because it has a very low search volume and thus very little competition, or you can pick another long-tail keyword from Google s Keyword Tool and assess the competition for it. Why would you want to target a keyword that has a monthly search volume of zero? First of all, Google doesn t track all the low volume keywords properly, so this long-tail keyword might actually have a search volume of up to 100 searches per month. If you only got 5 visitors per month from this article, multiply that with the 50 or 200 articles that you are going to write in a year and you ll see that the number of visitors can add up quickly. Let s take the more difficult route, though, and discover a keyword that has a decent search volume and competition by taking a good look at Google s suggested keywords. (3 minutes later...) Bingo! We have discovered the anti aging cream that works keyword!

This long-tail keyword has about 50 searches per month and only 882 competitors; if you write a good, meaty article and promote it through social media (Twitter, etc) you will have good chances to rank it on the first Google page. Don t forget to take a good look at the Competition column; it shows the AdWords competition for that particular keyword, but it can still serve as an indicator for our needs. If you are targeting a high competition search phrase, you have few chances to rank high on Google for it, so choose another phrase from the Keywords ideas list and start over. I do a little math here, measuring the number of direct competitors and the number of Google search results for the phrase I m targeting, but the Competition column is good enough to get you started in the initial research phase. Not sure what keywords to choose? Run a Google search for your base keyword /

phrase and then examine the results on the first two Google pages the titles and the descriptions of the websites should include the keywords used by your most powerful competitors. Get keywords / key phrases ideas from their web pages and turn them into long-tail search phrases by adding your location, words like affordable, buy, new, cheap, free and so on. As an example, if you are selling anti aging creams and your business area is New York, you re going to have much greater chances to rank high for anti aging cream New York than for anti aging cream. Now that you have chosen a proper title for your article, you might face a small problem: Google doesn t like long article titles - you ve got a limit of about 70 characters to play with. You wouldn t want your great Look much younger in only 2 months by purchasing our marvelous Anti Aging Fairy Cream article title to be cut out, losing powerful keywords and confusing the potential customers, so keep an eye on the length of the title. Try to keep the title short, catchy and at the same time full of rich, powerful keywords and phrases; I spend a good 10 20 minutes doing just that. It s time to set the name for the blog page. If you sell anti aging creams in New York, you want your blog post URL to look like this: http://www.mywebsite.com/anti-aging-cream-new-york because it will help you rank higher in Google. If your website uses Wordpress, you can do that easily by choosing /%postname%/ in the Permalinks tab. Let s start writing the article; make sure that you are creating fresh, unique, interesting content Google can detect if you are recycling existing text and won t give you a good rank for it. Also, don t forget that Google likes easy-to-read text, just like most humans do, so use normal, and at the same time relevant language, words that a person would use if he / she talked about your service or product. Your article should contain expressions made out of 2, 3 and 4 keywords that are relevant for your search phrase. For quick results, you might want to spy on your top competitors articles (there s a reason why they have reached Google s first

page, right?) and get ideas. It s always better to write regular articles, and then adapt them a bit, including some of the keywords / phrases that interest you. An important rule: Google takes into account the prominence of the words, the distance between the words and the top of the page, ranking the ones that are closer to the top of the page higher than the ones at the bottom. This means that you will want the keywords that interest you to appear closer to the top of the page. Another important aspect is the proximity of the words that create your search phrase. If I want to achieve a good Google rank for anti aging cream New York, the expression anti aging cream vendor in New York will rank higher than anti aging cream, anti aging tips, and many other products available in our New York store. Let s not forget about keyword density. It s a tricky business, because it can trigger Google s spam alert. If you are writing an article about anti aging creams, it makes sense to have these words (and related words) appear in the article several times. Don t do this too many times, tough; Google will penalize you for sure. As a general rule, if your friends can read the text without bursting into laughs you are on the right track. Always make sure to write for users, not for search engines that s what I do. Don t use too many keywords in a single article; better save them to create highly targeted, niche-related blog posts. If you put too much information / too many keywords into a single article, Google will diminish their value. Stay focused on the topic. Now that your article is written, it s time to fill the description meta tag with a unique, keyword-rich summary that tells Google what your blog post is about. A few more thoughts: - Write good anchor text (the text that is used for clickable links). Don t use click

here to see our offer when you can use anti aging cream price for your link. - Blog on a regular basis; Google will visit your website more often. - Use alt tags for all the relevant images; ignore the alt tag for the images that don t add any value to your article. As a general rule, try to use as few images as possible; the page will load faster, and Google can't read the text written on them anyway. That s pretty much it! If you have followed the guidelines, some of your blog articles will land on the first Google search results page for sure! As you now know, this method only works for keywords that have a very low competition; if you are interested in getting many more targeted visitors and sales through search engine traffic for competitive keywords, contact us we will help you get a first page Google rank without breaking the bank!
