STRATEGIC PLAN GOAL: Sewer rehab construction relates to the City s Goal of Financially Strong City with Service Excellence. SUMMARY OF ITEM This change order in the amount of $111.078.25 is for revising the scope of work to include additional pipes, pump and other associated costs for sewer by pass pumping. Additional capacity was needed to handle peak flows. The design was based on average day flows that were supplied by North Texas Municipal Water District. During construction, an instantaneous peak flow caused a small overflow of sewage. This required that additional pumping capacity be added to handle the larger flow. Staff recommends approval of Change Order No.1.
