Tampa Bay s Busch Gardens combines worldclass thrill rides, live entertainment and one of America s largest Zoos for an adventure for the whole family. Adventure Island, just across the street offers water slides, a wave pool and other wet yet fun options. South Tampa South Tampa is one of Tampa s most charming areas and is close to some of the best entertainment of Tampa Bay. It is often described as a beautiful quaint neighborhood right in the city. There are a variety of homes- from waterfront homes with pools to high rise condos to historic bungalows. This is a culturally infused area with a variety of unique restaurants, shopping and activities. South Tampa has close proximity to the airport, the Westshore business district, downtown, Channelside and Ybor. Two highly rated hospitals serve the area- Tampa General and St. Joseph s Hospital. Both Davis Island and Harbour Island are wonderful communities in their own right. Just south of downtown Tampa, they are rich in history and the water views are second to none. New Tampa This area in Northeast Tampa is characterized by lots of sidewalks, trails for biking and hiking, and well landscaped developments. Many of them have community pools and clubhouses. Tampa Palms and New Tampa were developed from 1990 s right now, so there are still some terrific new construction choices. The residents can choose to go to the Florida Hospital near USF or the brand new one in Wesley Chapel. This is a family oriented area with many restaurants, great schools and lots of programs and sports for the children. Several golf courses and tennis clubs call New Tampa home, so your opportunities for recreation are numerous. Land O Lakes Land O Lakes, an area 20 minutes north of downtown Tampa, is an area that certainly lives up to its name. It has winding neighborhoods designed around the lakes and beautiful natural scenery. Westchase A lovely area northwest of the Tampa International Airport and only a half hour to the beaches, Westchase is a planned unit development community of over 2,000 homes built between 1990 and 2010. Recreation is a main draw for resident with golf, tennis, swimming and parks. The West Park Village Town Center and West Chase Square are right within Westchase, providing residents a host of cafes, restaurants, nightlife, doctor s offices, retail shopping and even a daycare and preschool. Apollo Beach Apollo Beach, located in southern Hillsborough County, is known as a laid-back boating community. Ideally situated next to the Hillsborough Bay, there are direct access homes on canals to dock your boat along with several local marinas. The surrounding area is growing and there are many new construction communities too. Because it is located within a half hour drive either to Tampa or to Sarasota, the area offers a multitude of things to do on any given day. Brandon Brandon is an excellent suburban community for families with a large regional mall, fine schools, Brandon Regional hospital, and an easy commute to Tampa or to MacDill Air Force Base. There are both established and new construction neighborhoods of single family homes, along with several townhome and condominium communities to choose from in this vibrant area of Tampa Bay. Carrollwood Close proximity to the city and airport are the key reasons this community remains an often chosen area to live for Tampa residents. Carrollwood was built in the 1960 s- 1980 s, so it is an established area with lots of shopping, restaurants, and great schools.
