(080717) Comparative Education ( Credit Hours) This course addresses the emergence of the Comparative Education, and its evolution, importance, goals, curricula, and the assumptions and principles which it based on, to analysis different aspects of the educational process (philosophical, methodological, applied, administrative, and assistive aspects). And studying the factors affecting the formation of educational systems and comparing them in different countries. ) 717080( Education and Development ( Credit Hours) This course addresses the essence of the development, and its aims, relation with educational process, the role of education in developing human and the economic, social, cultural, productive human resources, showing educational process as a basic tool for creating development in society, and building up national personality and determining its identity. (080711) philosophy of Education ( Credit Hours) This course addresses the emergence of philosophical thinking and its development through the ages, the emergence of philosophical doctrines, shedding light on the attitudes of every doctrine of the following Issues: the human nature, the presence, the knowledge, and values, the relationship between philosophy and education,

determining the concept of the philosophy of education, discussing the different educational philosophies (the old, the intermediate, the modern and the contemporary), and their relationship with elements of the educational process (the teacher, the learner, the curriculum). (08072) Contemporary Educational Theories ( Credit Hours) This course addresses the concept of educational theory, and its components, sources, principles, ideas that are based on them, and its philosophical, social and psychological foundations and types, and the course analyses the importance of educational theory for the educational system, and the most prominent contemporary theories as the progressive, natural and inevitable, behavioral, structural theory, and the Islamic vision. The course deals with the social and educational ideas laparoscopic such as awareness, and addresses the ability to learn, and the planned man and non- school. Islamic education ( Credit Hours) This course addresses the concept of Islamic education in its comprehensive framework, focusing on the goals of Islamic education, values, foundations, methods, defining the Islamic vision of man and the universe, the life, the concept of knowledge in Islamic education, and evaluating some contemporary educational theories in the light of Islamic Education. Also it addresses some Islamic education issues in the light of the past developments and the characteristics of the modern age. ( Credit Hours) This course addresses the emergence, to highlight the aspects of human activity, through describing and interpreting the impact of regimes and the social relationships on a person's character, by looking at school and other educational institutions, as a social institutions, within the public social construction, which achieve its functional role, within it, and contribute with a positive role in its progress and development. Education and human rights ( Credit Hours( This course addresses the definition of the concepts of human rights, starting from ancient civilizations, and then, the modern age, passing through human rights in Islam, education, human rights in Jordan, and ending in the status of human rights in the Arab with a focusing on human rights-related values, such as, tolerance, equality, justice and democratic values, The course included a presentation of the various educational 4

aspects, of the issue of human rights, as it provided in-depth a knowledge of international organizations, international Arab and Islamic legislation that related to the human rights and the values of tolerance and peace. Designing the research and its methods in the Foundations of Education( Credit Hours( This course aims to prove the students with the skills of research methods, the methodology in Foundations of Education, the statistical methods, furthermore, this course includes student implicating what they learn, through achieving a methodological search in one of the Foundations of Education themes. This course deals with the concept of school administration as derived from the concept of administration in general and educational administration in particular, Besides, it deals with the goals of school administration with regard to their patterns, fields and functions, as well as the administrative behavior of the principal, communication, time management, the role of the principal as a resident supervisor, and the importance of school administration in Jordan.. 5
