Don holds a B.A. (with honors) in Engineering Physics from Westmont College, a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, an M.S. in Engineering Management from West Coast University in Los Angeles, and a Doctorate in Organization Change from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. Don lives with his wife and three children in Santa Barbara, California.

The professional organizations he is involved with include the District Export Council of Southern California, Institute of Management Consultants, International Executive Resources Group and National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators, where he serves on the CGBP Governance Council.
