An Engaging Nursing Curriculum The online RN to MSN program is a 44 credit hour program that features eleven 8-week long courses. Nursing students can complete the degree in as few as two years (equivalent to six semesters). For students who have not completed a statistics course in their previous coursework, a credit hour graduate level statistics course is required (Students needing to complete the statistics course (provided online) will graduate with 47 credits). There are starts per year January, May, and September. This course can be completed in your current workplace or in your local community at a program approved facility.

Admission Requirements To be eligible for this program, all applicants must meet the following qualifications: Hold a current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the state in which the student will do clinical course work. Note: an unencumbered license means neither the license, the licensee s practice, nor the licensee is associated with any type of restriction, encumbrance, or probationary limitations imposed by the applicable Board of Nursing or any judicial entity. A copy of the RN license must be submitted at the time of application. Have at minimum an Associate Degree in Nursing from an educational institution that is accredited by a nationally recognized professional accreditation agency such as the National League for Nursing (NLN). Have earned at minimum an Associate s Degree in Nursing with a.0 GPA or higher, based upon a 4.0 scale for the last 0 semester credits of their nursing education degree program. Have at minimum the equivalent of two full years of work experience (or at least 4160 hours, including vacation time) as an RN within the past five years. The following materials must be submitted for application: Official transcript from an accredited associate s degree in nursing program. Copy of applicant s current unrestricted/ unencumbered RN license. Verification of full-time work experience Note: Prior to enrollment in the program, submission of proof of Lawful Presence (in compliance with Proposition 00) and a fingerprint clearance card will be required. Immunization clearance is also required - UA requires MMR, CON requires additional immunization clearances.
