Haworth s Product to LEED Points LEED - Commercial Interiors Chicago Showroom Haworth products may contribute to the individual prerequisites and credits of LEED. LEED is a holistic building rating system and a sustainable design guideline. As such, there are no LEED-certified products, but there are ways to use and apply products to support LEED criteria. LEED for Commercial Interiors is the green benchmark for the tenant improvement market. It certifies high performance green interiors as healthy, productive places to work; less costly to operate and maintain; with a reduced environmental footprint. LEED-CI gives tenants and designers the power to make sustainable choices even when they do not control the whole building.

Chicago Showroom Energy and Atmosphere Prerequisite 2 Credit 1.1 Minimum Energy Performance Haworth s TecCrete access flooring is designed to support underfloor air distribution, which reduces the energy needed to cool interior spaces. Optimize Energy Performance Lighting Power Systems lighting solutions utilize high efficiency electronic ballasts and energy efficient T5 and T8 lamps. BRAZO LifeSPACE ERA LIM LS Too Credit 1.3 Optimize Energy Performance HVAC Haworth s TecCrete access floors are designed to support underfloor air distribution, which is 20-30% more efficient than other HVAC systems. Materials and Resources Credit 1.2 Credit 2 Building Reuse Haworth s TecCrete access floors are designed to be easily moved and reused, contributing to this point on future projects. Construction Waste Management All Haworth products packaging materials include cardboard, polyethylene film, and wood, all of which are easily recyclable in many markets. Installation of modular power and data systems used with TecCrete access flooring eliminates the conduit and wiring waste associated with traditional wiring methods, reducing the total volume of debris to be diverted. Credit 3.2 Credit 4 Materials Reuse Furniture and Furnishings All Haworth products are designed to be easily moved, refurbished if desired, and reused, contributing to this point on future projects. Recycled Content Most Haworth products may contribute to this credit if the product has a total recycled content of greater than 10% BRAZO Hello LifeSPACE ERA LIM LOOK LS V Series X Series X99 Guest Credit 5 Credit 6 Credit 7 Regional Materials Products may contribute to this point dependant on project location. Haworth has manufacturing locations in Holland, Big Rapids, Ludington, and Douglas Michigan; Bruce, MS; High Point, NC; Calgary, Alberta, Canada; as well as China, India, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain. Rapidly Renewable Materials Several fabrics are available that are made with rapidly renewable materials such as cotton or wool. All products with fabric upholstery can apply to this credit if using a cotton or wool fabric. Certified Wood A number of Haworth products are available in FSC certified wood on a special order basis only. Page 2 of 4

Indoor Environmental Quality Prerequisite 1 Credit 3.2 Minimum IAQ Performance TecCrete floors are designed to support underfloor air distribution, which is more effective than traditional air distribution methods. Innovation and Design Process Credit 1 Innovation in Design Exemplary performance points may be achieved when a project substantially exceeds a LEED-CI performance credit. For instance, an innovation point may be awarded for achieving 30ww. LS Enclose and LifeSPACE ERA, when combined with Under Floor Air Distribution (UFAD), reduce the waste from office reconfiguration by up to 97% when compared with conventional construction. This reduction can qualify for an Innovation in Design point. Credit 1 Innovation in Design: Cradle to Cradle Certified Products Zody can contribute up to 100% of its project cost value toward meeting an innovation credit for using Cradle to Cradle certified products and materials on a project. Level of certification impacts the percent of value that can be applied toward the total threshold value. Zody models are Gold or Silver certified and contribute 50% (Silver) to 100% (Gold). Guest Credit 2 LEED Accredited Professional Haworth has LEED Accredited Professionals on staff who can participate on projects. Page 4 of 4
