Study Abroad Broaden your perspective and enhance your resume with a study abroad experience. Consistently ranked among the top 25 international education providers in the U.S., SU Abroad offers more than 100 programs in 60 countries. Brazil Kenya I had the opportunity to work in a University preschool during my first semester. Over the next few years, I worked in urban and suburban classrooms in grades ranging from first to sixth. As a teacher, there is no student I cannot work with and a major part of this is due to the School of Education. Brian Coonley 09, Inclusive Elementary Education and Political Science Within my four years, this program will provide me with six different field placements in a wide variety of schools, certification in both general education and special education, and a strong connection between faculty in the field and my fellow classmates. Azsa Parker 16, Early Childhood and Special Education The selected studies program allowed me to take a variety of classes, as well as double major in sociology. I m now pursuing a master s of science in instructional design, development, and evaluation at SU. Rachel Pastrich 15, Selected Studies and Sociology admissions.syr.edu/education
