Supplier Qualification Portal Datasheet Knowledge is power in supply chain management If you have a complex supply base how you collect, store and access supplier information will directly affect how easy it is for you to make accurate decisions, carry out supplier management effectively and build in to the category management process. Rather than simply storing data, knowledge and insight come from the augmentation of information and combining data sources. Our Supplier Qualification Portal is a single source of intelligence holding all supplier related data that can be centrally managed and maintained. Not only can you dig deeply into your suppliers to identify strengths, weaknesses or areas of risk but into their suppliers too, giving a complete picture of your supply chain. This removes the resource intensive activities of data collection, refresh and analysis that is typically duplicated many times across an organisation. If you need to analyse and understand your supply base you will find benefit in this solution, with the flexibility of configuration that will meet your specific organisational policies, requirements and targets. Our Supplier Qualification Portal, powered by NQC provides on-line access to support supplier registration, qualification and profiling as well as supply chain linkage and more detailed analysis. The portal can be configured to provide access to relevant data sets through the application of modular licenses to enable a fully flexible, integrated and seamless portal as a single point of access to all supplier based intelligence. Each data set is managed by industry leaders such as AMEE for sustainability data and Dun & Bradstreet for financial data.

Our technical solution - Supplier Qualification Portal A core part of the portal is the ability to collect key organisational data about suppliers to support market research and supplier selection processes. Data such as supply categories, areas of the country that can be serviced, insurance details and legal standing in the context of Public Procurement Regulations and DUNS number. The profile provides a basic level of consistent information regarding suppliers which supports the wider data sets within the Supplier Qualification Portal. Suppliers are able to complete the data once and share with many buyers directly and through integration with esourcing and procurement solutions. In addition to the supplier profile other data sources can be added. The core data sets which can be made available are as follows; NQC Sustainability NQC Government Buying Standards NQC Information Assurance NQC SME Spend Indicator We always recommend implementing the Supplier Qualification Portal with integrated DUNS numbers. This is a unique classification number from Dun & Bradstreet and ensures suppliers are correctly identified, associated correctly with their parent organisations and prevents duplication, which if allowed will undermine the data quality. Module NQC Sustainability Summary This is a web based assessment that can be accessed by all registered suppliers on the portal and covers the full range of sustainability considerations including environmental, social and economic policy areas as well as industry specific standards and codes of practice. The NQC Sustainability assessment covers key sustainability policies and objectives including; Reducing GHG Emissions Reducing waste generated Reducing water use Equality and Diversity Ensuring working conditions and ethical trade Developing workforce skills Delivering community benefits Developing SMEs It is available through a number of service options allowing you to choose how you want to engage with suppliers to facilitate maximum understanding of sustainability indicators in the supply chain.

Our technical solution - Supplier Qualification Portal Module NQC Government Buying Standards NQC Information Assurance NQC SME Spend Indicator Summary Government Buying Standards have been designed to make it easier for government buyers to buy sustainably. They include official specifications that all government buyers must follow when procuring a range of products. This web based assessment enables suppliers to input their products and services and assess them against the Buying Standards. You can review the results and easily identify where products and services do or do not meet the required standards. This functionality is flexible enough to be configured to support the management and adherence with any organisational requirements. This is a web based assessment that can be accessed by all registered suppliers or proactively managed on your behalf and enables organizations to identify and report on potential risks to data held within the supply chain. The NQC Information Assurance assessment is fully compliant with and incorporates CESGs standards assessing suppliers in line with Her Majesty s Government Security Policy Framework (SPF) and wider best practice, including; Data Handling and Information Risk Data Protection Act Information Risk awareness Physical Security Measures Personal Information Access Controls Business Impact Levels RMADS and IA standards Sub-contractor compliance This is used to verify and report on direct and indirect spend with SMEs within the supply chain, enabling indirect spend data to be collected at prime contractor level or down the tiers of the supply chain. The NQC SME Indirect Spend Indicator asks suppliers to report on the following information; Contract revenue sub-contracted to SMEs Forecast revenue to be subcontracted to SMEs Percentage of SMEs in supply chain Payment terms in place with SMEs in supply chain

Relevant to your business In addition to the core modules other data sets can be integrated with complete flexibility to ensure the tool fully meets your requirements and provides a comprehensive single source of all supplier related information, creating the environment for intelligence buyers. Example additional data sets include, but are not limited to; Country Risk Analysis Spend Analysis Supplier Performance Financial Indicators Sustainability indicators Delivering results for your organisation The service is typically delivered within 16 weeks. The first step is the identification of appropriate content and scope for the portal, followed by the integration of required modules, configuration and understanding of any other integration points. Our solution partner NQC will work with you, supported by Apsiz to engage with your internal system managers and to engage with appropriate suppliers. The Apsiz difference Working with Apsiz ensures you find the right commercial solution for your organisation, as experienced practitioners who have been responsible for the transformation and delivery of ecommerce worth billions of pounds in UK government. Our team managed the development and delivery of sid4gov, supporting the registration of over 20,000 suppliers and meeting the requirements of over 8,000 buyers. We have unparalleled experience in supporting procurement professionals in using supplier intelligence to proactively manage risk and reduce the possibility of catastrophic failure. Data driven decision making The Supplier Qualification Portal is user friendly with graphical information and RAG indicators for speed and usability. Each of the core data modules and other modules can be added to the portal so it is customised to show the information about your suppliers most relevant to your business operations. The information is displayed as a tab in each supplier record bringing all the insights together for your review. Long term performance improvement Our approach ensures this solution changes how your organisation performs, not simply a system implementation but the necessary behaviour and process adjustments that will make this succeed and drive intelligence based decisions from the portal data. We can also support the development of the scope and configuration to ensure all aspects of your organisation s requirements are considered given their specific business policies and strategic focus, providing experienced operational knowledge on how this can be supported in an optimised and efficient manner.
