The merger between HealthEast Employees CU and AHCU will be complete on July 1, 2013 when accounts and systems will transfer to AHCU. Getting Started Member Number Your new AHCU member number will be 7 digits with a 7 prefix added to your current HECU member number. For example: Current HECU Will be AHCU Member Number Member Number 123 7000123 1234 7001234 12345 7012345 123456 7123456 Checking Number Your checking account number will be a 10 digit account number. A CCOUNTS From loan rates to checking, AHCU offers a broad range of products and services to meet your personalized needs. Savings If You Had You ll Now Have What s Different Share Savings Share Savings $10 Minimum Balance required for membership (instead of $25). Suffix: 1.9 Holiday Club Holiday Club Minimum balance required: $0. Dividends paid on account with no minimum Suffix: 61 requirement. No withdrawals allowed during the term. Holiday funds will be disbursed the first of November each year to your share account. Vacation Club Suffix 62-64.9 Club Savings Minimum balance required: $0. Dividends paid on account with no minimum requirement. If balance falls below the $2500 minimum, a $5 fee will be assess and interest will not be earned. At maturity, the credit union will contact you to choose one of AHCU s current IRA certificate options.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Requires action before 6/30/2013 YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT HISTORY HECU transaction history will be accessible through 6/30/2013. To retain copies of your estatements prior to 7/1/2013, log on to Account login > estatements and access your statements. Pdf files are available to view, print or save to your computer or another location. Please note, estatement for HECU will no longer be available after 6/30/2013. BILL PAY To prepare for this switch, please record all your information from your HECU electronic bill payment account on your payees (for example: name of payee, address and account number) prior to the end of the June. This will assist you when you input them into the new bill payment service and set up your ebills. Bills will not be paid after 6/28/2013. Please make sure you do not have any reoccurring payments or bills scheduled to be paid after this date.
A CCOUNT FAQS 1. When will I receive a new Debit or ATM card? You will receive a new AHCU debit or ATM card in June 2013. Your HECU card will be deactivated on 6/30/2013 and you will need to begin using your new AHCU card on 7/1/2013. 2. Will my daily card limit remain the same? No. ATM withdrawal limits will increase to $500 per day. Debit card purchases are limited to the lesser of $2000 or to the amount in your account. 3. Will I receive new checks? Yes, you can continue to use your HECU checks until you receive notification that new checks need to be ordered with your new AHCU account number. 4. When will I receive Checking Account dividends? Associated Healthcare checking accounts don t receive dividends. 5. How long will my account history be available online? HECU transaction history will be accessible until 6/30/2013. To retain copies of your estatements, log on to Account login > estatements. Pdf files are available to view, print or save to your computer or another location. 6. Should I change my Direct Deposit and Electronic Payments? No, at this time electronic payments and deposits should post to your new AHCU account. 7. Can I make deposits or loan payments from another financial institution? Yes, you can set-up ACH origination. If you have a current ACH origination set up with HECU, it will tranfer. 8. What if I have an overdraft? If available, AHCU will transfer money from an account under the same member number (Savings and Club), with an available Line of Credit loan or Overdraft Privilege (formerly Privilege Pay, if qualified). A CCESS * ONLINE Our FREE online banking service, Access Online, allows you to conveniently manage your account anywhere, 24/7/365. Starting July 2, 2013, you can enroll in Access Online: View account transaction history Transfer money Pay bills (transactions after July 1) Check account balances View cleared checks (once you Mobile Banking And, more! begin using checks from AHCU) GET STARTED! 1. Go to www.ahcu.org 2. Log in (located on the top right) with your new AHCU member number. Use the last four digits of the primary account holder s social security number for your temporary password. You will be prompted to create a new password and set up multifactor authentication. 3. Once logged in, schedule money transfers, set-up automatic notifications, and more. 4. Sign up for FREE estatements. Receive your monthly/quarterly statement electronically. Once set-up, you will be notified by an e-mail that your statement is ready for viewing, then you will need to log into Access*Online and go to the Online Service tab. This feature will store up to 12 months of statements starting July 2013. 5. Sign up for BILL PAY under Access Online. Set up bills from your checking account that automatically get paid and sent out either by check or electronically. Access Bill Payment to create new payees and schedule payments. Payments may be set up as a single payment or recurring payments. Please note: There is no charge if you pay a minimum of 3 bills each month. Otherwise the charge will be $4.95 a month.
