Q: You have quite an interesting professional background, having started out in fashion industry and shifting gears into real estate. Why did you decide to make that leap? A: I was in the fashion business for 18 years. When the opportunity presented itself to be more personal and to impact a person s life on all levels, as I can do in real estate, I jumped on the opportunity. We take a concierge approach to our real estate business. If someone needs schools, doctors, artisans and attorneys, we ll curate that for them. I m a connector and it gives me great joy to bring people together, whether we re creating a product or selling a home, these are skills that are applicable to both industries. I ve surrounded myself with an incredible team of expert tax attorneys, accountants and other specialists that can help our clients better their lives. I am on the board of Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, so I have an exceptional reach to impact the clients lives and protect them, which is ultimately what we want to do. Q: A luxury property on Sunset Island II on Miami Beach, Florida is currently up for sale. Can you share with our readers what makes this property attractive to prospective buyers, in your opinion? A: This property was selected as the Elle Décor Modern Life Concept House in 2013 during the world s premiere art show, Art Basel Miami Beach. To even have the opportunity to be in that home, let alone sell it, is an extraordinary experience for me. From the moment you step foot into this idyllic sanctuary nestled on a private island enclave on Miami Beach, you are in a Zen-like state. It s a sprawling property of 10,500 feet of living space that feels warm due to the architecture and design crafted by Kobi Karp. There are views of the water and lush landscaping from every room, so you feel like you re in a tropical paradise. The design of the home is the U-shape with everything surrounding the main focal point of the home: the Zen Garden with a stone stepping pond filled with tropical fish. Whether you are in the kitchen with one-of-a-kind Ornare glass cabinets and Gaggenau appliances or in the family room with custom river rock/resin bar and island, you are gazing out onto the water and the Zen Garden. The master bedroom and one of the five guest suites have private terraces with beautiful water views. The home also has a custom glass elevator and a backup generator on the roof. Q: What surrounding areas does this property have access to? A: Miami Beach itself has changed so much and is now more inter-connected than ever with its adjacent neighborhoods. Once upon a time you just had South Beach and Lincoln Road. Now you have the best restaurants and shopping Miami Beach has to offer. If you want to go to Miami, you are 10 minutes away from the Arts and Entertainment District, Midtown, the Design District that has 100 of the top luxury retailers, and the airport. There are four Sunset Islands in the area. Sunsets 1 and 2 are the most prestigious and between the two, there are only 135 homes, making it a magical, intimate place to live. P A G E 2

Q: What are the special touches on the property that make it a distinctive piece of real estate? A: The location is very attractive because you are in a gated community with ultimate privacy. You ll see a lot of celebrities and people of wealth who live on the Sunsets. This particular home is on a parcel of land of 20,000 ft. that can house a larger boat up to 90 ft. It has a floating dock for those people who are looking for somewhere to park their water toys. Outdoor living for us in Miami is critical and this house extends from indoor to outdoor to reflect that. It has a summer kitchen, glass fireplace, outdoor shower, salt water heated infinity edge pool and a sandy beach where you can lay on your hammock. The water features in both the front and the back of the property add to the peaceful serenity of it all. The home at night sparkles with breathtaking lighting creating a spectacular glow throughout the property. It is ideal for entertaining with a living room with 24 feet ceilings, a dining room that can seat at least 10 and a custom-made 500 bottle wine cage. The family room with inviting seating and a fireplace is the perfect place to hang out. The second floor contains the four guest suites and master suite with a private office including a second washer/dryer, a custom-made Ornare leather and wood closet with an island and a very spacious master bathroom with double sinks, custom cabinetry and a steam feature. The best part about the master suite is the spectacular water views. The home also boasts a media room which many homeowners are requesting these days. Q: Miami is quickly becoming a new global city. Why is it attracting so many New Yorkers, fellow Americans and an international audience? A: Our customers from New York are coming to Miami in droves because it s an easy commute and they can be here in less time than it would take them to drive to the Hamptons. We have an innovative restaurant and hotel scene happening in Miami coupled with beautiful retail therapy. We also have a bustling art scene -- the focal point being Art Basel -- as people all over the world view this as the prime location to view and display their art. Real estate here is still much less expensive than New York, London, Toronto and other major cities and the tax ramifications for being domiciled in Miami are huge. We don t have state tax and we re increasingly seeing people from New York switching their domicile to Miami after consulting with their tax attorneys and accountants. We are also easily accessible from South America and Europe. We now even have direct flights from Qatar and Dubai, making it truly an international destination. P A G E 3
