CONTEXT FOR THE TASK Students develop an understanding of the nature and functions of law through the examination of the law-making processes and institutions. THE TASK Research a treaty, convention or declaration to which Australia is a signatory in one of the following areas: q Intellectual property q The environment q Refugees q Indigenous peoples q International crime.
