Overview Analytic Reporting is an online solution offered by Insurance & Retirement Services (I&RS) that provides information to support your cross functional decision making needs. Information includes: Dashboards with trends in inflows, outflows and net flows Sales analysis by product, carrier, distributor, geography and account type Custom views and reports to meet your specific needs Downloadable reports in multiple formats for use in company documents and research The source of the data that feeds the service is Financial Activity Reporting (FAR) transactions currently sent by Insurance Carriers to its Distributor partners through DTCC. Although FAR files between Carriers and Distributor is considered the preferred and most efficient way to process transactions and source the analytic reporting tool, not all business is currently transacted via this mechanism. Therefore, some data may not be available through the service. Analytic Reporting Full Coverage allows Carriers to submit all annuity and insurance financial transaction data through the FAR files for Distributors they conduct businesses with that are: DTCC members, but are not transacting any transactions through FAR or only a subset of transactions through the FAR service. not currently DTCC members Transactions with these types of Distributors may be sent to DTCC for use in Analytic Reporting. The stored data will be incorporated into the Analytic Reporting Service so that submitting carriers can obtain a complete view of their business through DTCC s Analytic Reporting online information service. There will be no retransmission of the transaction data itself to distributors. Those distributors may, however, subscribe to Analytic Reporting to utilize the data. 2
