Make sure you have followed the Pre-upgrade Tasks section from the Create!form Server for iseries V6R1 Upgrade Notes if you are upgrading. 2 CREATE!FORM SERVER FOR ISERIES V6R1 INSTALLATION To install Create!form Server 2.8 1 Sign on as QSECOFR, then create a savefile in the QGPL library of your AS/400: CRTSAVF QGPL/savefile name Where savefile name is the name of the savefile you wish to create. For example: CRTSAVF QGPL/ILCFS280 2 Start an FTP session from the PC to the AS/400 by entering the name or IP address of your AS/400. For example: C:\> FTP myas400 3 Complete the required signon and enter the password using QSECOFR account. Specify a BINARY transfer mode. ftp> BINARY 4 FTP the required file (ILCFS280) from the \Create!form server 2.8 (V6R1) directory on the installation CD to the savefile created in step 1. For example: ftp> PUT ILCFS280 QGPL/ ILCFS280 5 Restore the library on the AS/400 from the savefile in QGPL. For example: RSTLIB SAVLIB(ILCRTCFS) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(QGPL/ILCFS280) MBROPT(*ALL) ALWOBJDIF(*ALL) 6 Add ILCRTCFS to your library list: ADDLIBLE ILCRTCFS
CREATE!FORM SERVER FOR ISERIES V6R1 INSTALLATION 3 7 From an OS/400 command screen, execute the command to install the AS/ 400 library required for Create!form server: a b CALL PGM(ILCRTCFS/INSCFICFS) Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. You would be required to nominate an Install library and directory ( Default : CFSSYS280 and Create!form2). However, if you're upgrading from version 2.7 please use the System library name and IFS directory recorded during the pre-upgrade tasks.
4 CREATE!FORM SERVER FOR ISERIES V6R1 INSTALLATION It is normal to receive the following informational message during the installation process. Make sure to confirm that there are "205 objects restored" and "0 not restored" in the message. Then respond "I" to ignore the failing command.
CREATE!FORM SERVER FOR ISERIES V6R1 INSTALLATION 5 Again, it is normal to receive the following informational message during the installation process. Make sure to confirm the phrase "This directory share already active" in the message. Then respond "I" to ignore the failing command. 8 The savefile may be deleted once installation is complete. Execute the following command: DLTF FILE(QGPL/ILCFS280) 9 The install library may also be deleted when finished. Execute the following command: DLTLIB LIB(ILCRTCFS)
6 CREATE!FORM SERVER FOR ISERIES V6R1 INSTALLATION Note Before deleting ILCRTCFS, ensure that it has been removed from your library list. 10 If you are performing an upgrade from version 2.7, please replace the content of your IFS directory with your backup from the "pre-upgrade tasks" procedure.
