SR Lite Note1- For users using Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 SP1 ScanRouter uses the FTP protocol in 2 situations When scanned data is transferred from the MFP to the ScanRouter server When the destination list is uploaded from the ScanRouter server to the MFP To facilitate these 2 situations, FTP port 3670 has to be added manually to the Windows Firewall Exceptions list

MicrosoftScanRouter Alert!!! Symptom ScanRouter V2 doesn't connect to mapped drives of the Netware server after installing the MS Windows Security Patch #MS03-026. Cause Microsoft said that this is a bug in the Widows Security Patch MS03-026 Countermeasure The Windows Security Patch MS 03-039 includes MS-03-026 and fixes this bug. Remarks! If a previous version of ScanRouter is installed, ScanRouter V2 Lite will overwrite ScanRouter If ScanRouter Professional is installed, ScanRouter V2 Lite cannot be installed. At least 500 MB of free disk space is required

System Maintenance2 System Recover It is possible to recover damage data in the Address list or document information. Not all information will be recovered. Do not use the recover function unless absolutely necessary. Restoring to Installation Defaults Returns the server s settings to their default values the way they were immediately after installation. All information about registered users and all saved documents are deleted.

SR Lite V2 Unable to update destination list on MFP Reboot the SR server Confirm the printer/scanner SD card is in the proper slot You may still be able to print and twain scan, even with the SD card in the wrong slot However, the address book/destination list will not update on the MFP When un-installing Scan Router, always remove the IO device prior to uninstalling Scan Router Map drives with XP and scan router Not supported
SR Lite V2 Error "No response from device" when trying to connect to the I/O device The device will respond to a ping command, you can browse to the NIC using a web browser and all other network settings of the device are correct Add the I/O device in to DNS using its printer name found on the printer configuration page If that s not possible, you may need to edit the host file See attachment for details
SR Lite V2 Images are shrunk (reduced) by about ¼ inch when an image is scanned and then reprinted using Adobe Acrobat If the "shrink oversize pages to paper size" box is selected the image will be reduced about 1/4 inch to fit the entire image onto the page To prevent the reduction when printing is selected, uncheck the "shrink oversize pages to paper size" box found on the right hand side of the print screen under Copies and adjustments See attachment for screen shot
