Numbers in parentheses refer to the circled items above: (1) The Title Bar displays three fields of information: The field at the left indicates the current File Manager process and your entry path to the File Manager Window, including the button pressed and (depending on the function) the User Menu softkey function selected. The field at the center names the window. The field at the right indicates the drive from which the system was booted. 336 File Manager

Chapter 7. SYSTEM MANAGEMENT (2) The Disk Drive Area displays icons for the available disk drives. The yellow Highlight indicates the currently selected drive. The Hard Disk Icon indicates when the hard disk is selected and active. Select the hard disk by pressing{hard} on the File Manager User Menu. The Floppy Disk Icon indicates when the floppy disk drive is selected and active. The floppy disk is selected by pressing {Floppy} on the User Menu. The Zip Disk Icon indicates when the zip disk is selected and active. The zip disk is selected by pressing {Zip}on the User Menu. The CD-ROM Disk Icon indicates when the CD-ROM disk drive is selected and active. The CD- ROM disk drive is selected by pressing {Cd-ROM}on the User Menu. The F:Net Icon indicates when the F:Net drive is selected and active. The F:Net disk drive is selected by pressing {F:Net}on the User Menu. The G:Net Icon indicates when the G:Net drive is selected and active. The G:Net disk drive is selected by pressing {G:Net}on the User Menu. (3) The Drive Status Box indicates the amount of storage space available on the selected drive. When the current drive is Floppy, the "disk type" is also indicated in this field. (4) The Path Box indicates the current path. The label in this box automatically changes as you scroll up and down the directory tree. (5) The Directory Tree indicates directories, sub-directories, and files in the tree format. Directories are labeled with the a slash ( / ) following the name. (6) The yellow Highlight with the red border indicates the current "selected" file or directory. This highlight moves as you navigate the tree. If a file or directory is highlighted, a function (such as move, copy, or delete) can be performed. When multiple files are selected (using normal multi-select procedures), they are also highlighted in yellow, but the current file or directory is always bordered in red. (7) The Empty Directory Status indicates a directory that does not contain any files. (8) File Read/Write Status is displayed in the right-hand side of the directory area, for files only, not directories. "Read Only" is displayed when appropriate. A "blank" field indicates write status enabled. (9) The Scroll Bar indicates your current position in the directory tree. (10) The Message Area displays messages related to the current function. (11) The File Data Entry Line allows you to enter file names and path names for the current function or operation. This data line updates the path as you scroll. Once you have initiated a file-related function, such as {Copy}, {Move}, {Write}, or {ReName}, the File Data Entry Line always applies to the target. File Manager 337

Note that the labels in the Path Box and File Data Entry Line change as you scroll. Moves highlight to the first file of the directory branch in which you are currently located. If you are already at the top of the directory, START moves left, up to the first file of the next directory. Selects all files from your current position to the first file in the directory branch in which you are located. Moves highlight to the last file in the current directory branch. If you are already at the bottom of the directory, END moves one level up the tree, then down to the last file of the next directory. Selects all files from your current position to the last file in the directory branch in which you are located. Moves highlight to the top of the list (root "/" directory). Moves highlight to the bottom of the file list. Moves highlight to the previous file or directory (up the tree). Moves highlight to the next file or directory (down the tree). Moves highlight up one page of file and directory listings. Moves highlight down one page of file and directory listings. Holding SHIFT + any of the above keys (TRACKBALL, START, END, PREV, NEXT, PREV PAGE, NEXT PAGE) selects all files from your current position to the next position you locate the highlight. Expands the highlighted directory, revealing the next level of listings only. Press SPACEBAR again to close the highlighted directory and all levels beneath it. Expands the entire path of directories and files inside the currently highlighted directory. Expands the highlighted directory, revealing the next level of listings only. Closes the highlighted directory and all levels beneath it. Exit File Manager Window. 338 File Manager

Chapter 7. SYSTEM MANAGEMENT File Manager Window Shortcuts A variety of shortcut keys are available for navigating the File Manager Window, as summarized in the table below. Column one lists the shortcut key, column two lists the directory which is accessed, and column three lists the path: File Manager Window Shortcuts Shortcut Key Directory Path ASIGN MNGR Specfile directory /sys/specfile/ SHIFT + ASIGN MNGR Device directory /sys/device/ INIT MNGR Configuration directory /sys/config/ LIST I/O Lists directory /lists/ MACRO Macro directory /sys/macro/ SYSTM System directory /sys/ SESSN MNGR Sessions directory /sessions/ Selecting Files and Directories The following rules apply to highlighted files and directories: When a single file is highlighted, functions (such as Copy, Move, and Delete) are performed on that file alone. When a directory is highlighted, functions (such as Copy, Move, and Delete) affect all items within that directory. When multiple files or multiple directories are highlighted, functions affect all items within the multiple selection. Multiple File Selection Use the following methods to select multiple files in the File Manager Window: Hold down the SHIFT button, then roll the Trackball to select a continuous range of items. All items in the range are highlighted in yellow. Hold down SHIFT and press PREV or NEXT to add or subtract an item from a multiple selection. To lock a selection (single or multiple) to allow you to select other non-continuous items, press SELECT. This creates a locked range. To add a non-continuous item, highlight the item and press SELECT. Press SHIFT + START to select all files from your current position to the to the first file of the directory branch in which you are currently located. Press SHIFT + END to select all files (multi-select) from your current position to the last file of the directory branch in which you are currently located. The following rules apply to multiple selections: The File Data Entry Line is disabled during multi-select mode. To deselect a range of highlighted items (which are not locked), hold down SHIFT and roll the Trackball to remove highlights from the range. To deselect a single item in a locked range, highlight the line and press SELECT. File Manager 339

Axial 3000 User Guide To deselect an entire locked range, scroll to the start or end of the range, hold down SHIFT, roll the Trackball to remove the desired highlights, then press SELECT. To remove a group of items within a locked range, highlight just the desired items and press SELECT. The file you re currently on is always selected, but it will not remain selected after you move the highlight, unless you press SELECT while it is highlighted or hold down the SHIFT key. You do not need to press SELECT to perform a function on a single item. Pressing {Move}, {Delete}, or {Copy} performs a select. Viewing and Editing Files The following methods can be used to view and/or edit files within selected directories: When a directory is highlighted, press SPACEBAR to open (expand) a closed directory, revealing the next level of listings only. Press SPACEBAR again to close the highlighted directory, and all levels beneath it. When a directory is highlighted, press ALL to open (expand) the entire path of directories and files inside that directory. When a directory is highlighted, press YES + to open (expand) that directory, revealing the next level of listings only. This is similar to pressing SPACEBAR on a closed directory. When a directory is highlighted, press NO - to close the directory, and all levels beneath it. This is similar to pressing SPACEBAR on an open directory. Note: Because the YES + and NO buttons are used to open and close directories, do not use them to type + and - characters in filenames. Use the + and - keys in the QWERTY section. When an ASCII-based file is highlighted, such as a.spec file or an EDL, press ENTER to access the file s text window for editing and modification purposes. All standard text editing rules apply. If ENTER is pressed when a binary file is highlighted (e.g., a "session" file) an empty text file is opened. 340 File Manager

SYSTEM MANAGEMENT File Manager Operations The following topics are discussed in this section: File Manager User Menu Drive Selection File Utilities Formatting Floppy Disks General File Management Rules File Manager User Menu The File Manager User Menu provides a variety of functions, even when the File Manager Window has been accessed for an unrelated function. For example: If you press SESSN MNGR, {ReOpen} to open a previous session, you can change drives, delete files, and then open a session of your choice. If you press INIT MNGR, {SaveAs}, to save a file of initialization values, you can copy and move files, and then save the Init Manager file. The following Figure illustrates the File Manager User Menu: FILE UTILS FORMAT Hard Floppy Zip Cd-ROM F:Net G:Net File Manager User Menu The File Manager User Menu provides the following functions (top row): {FILE} accesses the File Menu for selecting drives. {UTILS} accesses the Utilities Menu for write protecting/write enabling files, printing, deleting, moving and copying files. {FORMAT} accesses the Format Menu for formatting floppy disks for EDL storage. Drive Selection With {FILE} selected in the User Menu, the following functions are available: Press {Hard} to select the hard drive. In the File Manager Window, the Hard Drive Icon is selected. Press {Floppy} to select the floppy drive. The floppy disk type is automatically detected and in the File Manager Window, the Floppy Disk Icon is selected. If there is no floppy disk in the drive, the following message appears: Error reading drive /a. Press ENTER to clear the message. Press {Zip} to select the zip drive. In the File Manager Window, the Zip Disk Icon is selected. If there is no zip disk in the drive, the following message appears: Error reading drive /d. Press ENTER to clear the message. Press {Cd-ROM} to select the CD-ROM drive. In the File Manager Window, the CD-ROM Disk Icon is selected. If there is no CD-ROM disk in the drive, the following message appears: Error reading drive /e. File Manager 341

Axial 3000 User Guide Press ENTER to clear the message. Press {F:Net} to select the F:Net drive. In the File Manager Window, the F:Net Drive Icon is selected. If there is no F:Net drive configured, the following message appears: Error reading drive /f. Press ENTER to clear the message. Press {G:Net} to select the G:Net drive. In the File Manager Window, the G:Net Drive Icon is selected. If there is no G:Net drive configured, the following message appears: Error reading drive /g. Press ENTER to clear the message. Note: The network drives ( F:Net and G:Net) are assigned using Windows NT Explorer. File Utilities Press {UTILS} to display the File Utilities User Menu: FILE UTILS FORMAT RdOnly Writbl Print Move Delete Copy File Utilities User Menu The File Utilities User Menu provides the following functions: Press {RdOnly} to change the file s attribute to Read Only. A "Read Only" attribute will appear to the right of the file name. Press {Writbl} to change the file's attribute to Writable. The "Read Only" attribute will disappear from the right of the file name. Press {{Print} to print the file directly to the configured printer. Press {{Move} to initiate the process for moving files or directories. Press {{Delete} to delete the highlighted item or items. Press {{Copy} to initiate the process for copying files or directories. Printing Files To Print a File: 1 Highlight the single file that you want to print. 2 Press {Print} to print the file directly to the configured printer. 342 File Manager

SYSTEM MANAGEMENT Moving Files To Move a File: 1 Press {Move}to initiate the process for moving files or directories: 2 Highlight a single file or directory, or select multiple files or directories. 3 Press {Move}. The message box confirms your selection(s). 4 Scroll the highlight to the destination directory. Please note: You cannot change drives in the Move mode. If you highlight another file, you will move the file and rename it with the target file s name. 5 Press ENTER to confirm the move, or CANCL to exit without moving. You can also press CONTROL + MOVE to initiate the process. Renaming a File To Rename a File: 1 Press {Move}. 2 Backspace over the original name and enter a new filename, 3 Press ENTER. The file is renamed and remains in the same location. Deleting Files To Delete a File: 1 Press {Delete}to delete the highlighted item or items. If a single item is highlighted, it is deleted immediately. If a directory is highlighted, a confirmation window appears. Press YES + to delete, or NO - to cancel. You can also press CONTROL + DLETE on the Control Panel to delete files. Deleted items are placed in the (DELETED)/ directory for safety. To permanently delete items without placing them in the (DELETED)/ directory, press SHIFT + CONTROL + DLETE on the Control Panel. This function is not available with the {Delete} softkey on the user menu. Copying Files To Copy a File: 1 Highlight a single file or directory, or select multiple files or directories to be copied. 2 Press {Copy}. The message box confirms your selection(s). 3 The {FILE} Sub-Menu is automatically selected for you to specify the destination drive, if desired. If you are copying the file to the same drive, highlight the directory you wish to copy the file to and press ENTER. If you do select a different drive, the system asks: Do you wish to copy the selected file(s) using the same path/filename. 4 Press YES to copy to the same path on the target drive, without actually accessing that drive. 5 Press NO to access the target drive and locate the destination directory manually. Note: If you highlight another file, you will copy the file (overwrite) and rename it with the target file s name. 6 Press ENTER to confirm the copy, or CANCL to exit without copying. You can also press CONTROL + COPY to initiate the copy process. File Manager 343

Axial 3000 User Guide Note: You can copy a file to a new name by pressing {Copy}, backspacing and changing the filename, then pressing ENTER. The file is copied to a new name in the same directory. Copy examples: To Copy a List (EDL file) from Hard Disk to a Floppy on the Same Path: 1 On the hard disk, highlight the file you want to copy. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy} to initiate the copy process. 3 {Floppy} to switch to the Floppy drive. 4 YES (in response to the copy to same path query). Note: You should not copy using the same path to CMX or GVG format RT-11 floppies, since these formats do not support a directory structure. To Copy a List (EDL file) from Floppy to Hard Disk on the Same Path: 1 On the Floppy disk, highlight the file you want to copy. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy} to initiate the copy process. 3 {Hard} to switch to the Hard drive. 4 YES (in response to the copy to same path query). To Copy a File to a New Name in the Same Directory: 1 Highlight the file that you want to copy and rename. 2 Press {UTILS}, {Copy}. 3 On the File Data Entry Line, backspace and change the entire filename, or add an extension to differentiate the copy. 4 Press ENTER to confirm. To Copy a File from Hard Disk to Floppy Disk and Rename it: 1 On the hard disk, highlight the file you want to copy. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy} to initiate the copy process. 3 {Floppy} to switch to the floppy drive. 4 NO (in response to the copy to same path query). 5 Navigate to the desired directory, and type the new file name. 6 ENTER to copy. To Copy a File from Floppy to Hard Disk and Rename it: 1 On the Floppy disk, highlight the file you want to copy. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy} to initiate the copy process. 3 {Hard} to switch to the Hard drive. 4 NO (in response to the copy to same path query). 5 Navigate to the desired directory, and type the new filename. 6 ENTER to copy and rename. 344 File Manager

SYSTEM MANAGEMENT To Copy a File to Another Directory, and Maintain the Same Filename: 1 Highlight the file you want to copy. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy} to initiate the copy process. 3 Navigate to the desired directory. 4 ENTER to copy using the same filename. To Copy and Overwrite Another File, Maintaining the Destination Filename: 1 Highlight the file you want to copy. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy} to initiate the copy process. 3 Navigate to the file that you want to overwrite. 4 ENTER to copy and overwrite. 5 YES + to confirm. The destination filename is maintained. To Copy a File and Create a New Directory: 1 Highlight the file you want to copy. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy} to initiate the copy process. 3 Navigate to the directory under which you want to create a new directory. Remember that directories end in the / character. 4 Type the name of the directory you want to create, followed by a slash. For example, NewList/. 5 ENTER to create the new directory, and copy in the selected file. To Archive an Entire Directory from Hard Disk to Zip Disk: 1 Highlight the directory you want to copy. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy} to initiate the copy process. 3 {Zip} to switch to the Zip drive. 4 Press YES+ (in response to the copy to same path query). To Copy and Rename a Directory: 1 Highlight the directory you want to copy. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy} to initiate the copy process. 3 Navigate to the desired destination. 4 Type the new name of the directory. Do not type a slash. 5 ENTER to rename the directory and copy its entire contents. To Copy(Overwrite) a Read Only Specfile from CD-ROM to Hard Drive Specfile Directory: 1 Highlight the specfile you want to copy from the CD-ROM drive. 2 {UTILS}, {Copy}, {Hard}, to initiate the copy process to the Hard Drive. 3 YES in response to the copy to same path query. 4 YES in response to the File already exists. Do you wish to overwrite with COPY? query. 5 YES in response to the File is read only. Do you wish to overwrite with COPY? query. File Manager 345

Axial 3000 User Guide Text Editor Mode When a text file such as a Specfile, Macro, or List, is opened by pressing ENTER, the file is displayed in a text editor window (Text Editor Mode). Other Text Editor Modes include entering EDL comments or titles. In each of these Text Editor Modes, the Text Editor User Menu gives you direct access to Copy and Delete functions as well as toggling between Insert and Replace typing modes. Copy Delete Insert Text Editor User Menu In Text Editor Mode, the four Control Panel buttons REPL, INSRT, DLETE and COPY (located in the top row of the QWERTY section) function as actual characters, and not as system functions: Press REPL to type a 7 Press SHIFT + REPL to type a & Press INSRT to type a 8 Press SHIFT + INSRT to type a * Press DLETE to type a 9 Press SHIFT + DLETE to type a ( Press COPY to type a - Press SHIFT + COPY to type a _ Because of this, when editing text, the CONTROL key must be used with the desired function key if you wish to perform Replace, Insert, Delete or Copy functions using the Control Panel keys. Otherwise, it is more efficient to press the User Menu softkeys to Copy or Delete lines or toggle between Insert and Typeover (Replace) in Text Editor Mode. The table below summarizes the ways that Delete, Move and Copy can be used, depending upon the active system mode: Delete, Copy, and Move Functions System Mode To Delete, Press... To Copy, Press... SYSTEM MANAGEMENT Using the Text Editor Use the following text editing commands when adding or modifying text in a text file (e.g., Specfile, Macro, or Startup.cmds file): Roll the Trackball left, right, up, or down, to position the red cursor. Press ENTER to start a new line (carriage return). This command applies to the Text Editor and Comment Windows. Press BKSP to erase the previous character. Press CONTROL + 4, 6, 8, and 2 (on the keypad) to move the cursor left, right, up, and down, respectively. These keypad buttons have engraved arrows. Press CONTROL + REPL to select typeover mode. The cursor is a square. Press CONTROL + INSRT to select insert mode. The cursor is a line. Press CONTROL + COPY to copy the current line. Press CONTROL + DLETE to delete the current line. Press FWD to move the cursor forward one word. Press REV to move the cursor backward one word. Press START to move the cursor to the start of the first line. Press END to move the cursor to the start of the last line. Press PREV to move the cursor one line up. Press NEXT to move the cursor one line down. Press PREV PAGE to move the window and cursor two lines up. Press NEXT PAGE to move the window and cursor two lines down. Press CONTROL + ENTER to save changes and exit. Press CANCL to exit. Note: Punctuation marks are clearly labeled, for example, on the top row keys in the QWERTY section, and on buttons SRC I and SRC J. When you press CONTROL + ENTER to save changes made to a writable file, a backup file (.bak) is created without the changes, and a new file is created with the changes. When you press CONTROL + ENTER to save changes made to a Read Only file, you are first prompted File is read only. Do you really want to overwrite it? If you press YES, a backup file (.bak) is created without the changes, and a new writable file is created with the changes. If you press NO, the operation is canceled and the text editor window is closed. File Manager 347

Axial 3000 User Guide Formatting Floppy Disks Axial reads and writes EDL s, specfiles and other text files using DOS 1.4 MB (high density) and 720K (double density) floppy disks and RT-11 720k disks. Axial will also format floppy disks in DOS 1.4 MB and 720K. Press {FORMAT} to display the Format User Menu: FILE UTILS FORMAT DOS1.4 DOS720 RT-720 CMX GVG Format User Menu The Format User Menu provides the following functions: Press {DOS1.4} to format a DOS 1.4MB floppy disk. Press {{DOS720} to format a DOS 720k floppy disk. Press {RT-720} to format an RT-11 720k floppy disk. Press {CMX} to format a CMX 720k RT-11 floppy disk. Press {{GVG} to format a GVG 720k RT-11 floppy disk. To Format a Floppy Disk: 1 Press FILE MNGR, {FORMAT}to display the Format User Window. 2 Press {CMX} (or other desired file type) to initiate the floppy disk formatting process. The following dialogue box will appear: Dialogue Box - Formatting CMX 720k Floppy Disk 3 Press ENTER to format the disk, or CANCL to exit. Note: "List I/O: Disk Formatting Completed" will appear in the edit screen message area. The File Manager Window will remain open for you to perform other file management tasks. Press CANCL to close the File Manager Window. 348 File Manager

Chapter 7. SYSTEM MANAGEMENT General File Management Rules Note the following important rules regarding File Manager Window functions: Directories cannot be created by themselves. They must be created with another process such as Write or Save As. For example, when writing an EDL to disk, to create a directory and save the file, use the following steps: a. Press LIST I/O, {WRITE}, {SMPTE} to display the File Manager. b. On the File Data Entry Line, type the desired directory name: Example: /lists/bigclient c. Type a slash, then the desired filename: Example: /lists/bigclient/job1 To rename a file, use the move procedure. Press {Move}, change the filename as desired, then press ENTER to move (rename). To overwrite a file (for example, during the List I/O write procedure), highlight the desired file, do not enter a filename, and press ENTER. When the File Already Exists message appears, press YES to overwrite. The File Manager Window is automatically accessed in many system functions. All rules outlined above in this section apply when the File Manager Window appears. The upper left corner of the File Manager Window displays the current function. To exit the File Manager Window safely, without making any changes, press CANCL. If you are in the middle of a function, such as Copy or Move, pressing CANCL exits the function safely, but you remain in the File Manager Window if you wish to initiate another function. When you exit the File Manager, the next time you re-enter the window (for that specific function) the highlight remains at its last location, including the drive. For queries which request a yes, no, or all answer: Press YES + or Y on the Control Panel (A-1) to answer yes. Press NO - or N on the Control Panel (GOTO) to answer no. Press ENTER to answer no. ENTER does not equal a yes response. Press ALL to answer all, when that response is presented as an option. Full paths are maintained in the (DELETED)/ directory. When naming files, the following rules apply: Colons ( : ) are not allowed in file names. A filename cannot end in two periods (.. ), but can end in one period. For example, the filename BigTest.. is not allowed, but BigTest. is. Dashes ( - ) and underscores ( _ ) can be used in filenames. When exiting the Text Editor using CANCL, if changes have been made to the file, you will be asked to confirm that you wish to exit and lose the changes. CD-ROM files are always "Read Only." They cannot be changed to "Writable" and files cannot be copied to CD-ROM. Network file "Read Only" permission cannot be overridden by Axial. File Manager 349

SYSTEM MANAGEMENT DEVICE User Menu From the System User Menu, press {DEVICE} to display the Device User Menu: DEVICE CLOCK MAINT D-LOG C-LOG DEBUG Reread Values Cmds Device User Menu The following device functions are available: {Reread} displays the Device Reread Window. This function reloads device specfile driver data from the hard drive to the serial port RAM. Highlight the device to be reread, press SELECT or ENTER to reread the specfile. Device Reread Window {Values} displays the Device Values Window for the selected device. This window displays the value name, its current value and the minimum and maximum value range. You can change a value for a device by typing a number and pressing ENTER. If you press SELECT, it enters the number and sends the command to the device. Some values display alphanumeric text strings instead of numbers. These are referred to as ENUMs. To change an ENUM value, press SELECT to toggle through the range of options. All devices have a value called ResponseTime found in the Device Values Window. The overall response time for a device to receive a command from Axial is the ResponseTime plus the command s specific delay (found in the Device Commands Window). Axial 3000 User Guide Device Values Window {Cmds} displays the Device Commands Window for the selected device. This window displays the command name, delay value (command specific device delay), and the byte string for the command. Press SELECT to send the command to the device. To change a value which matches the selected command name, type in the desired value and press ENTER. The command delay can be changed by typing a number and pressing SET/TRIM RATE. Press CONTROL + ENTER to save changes and close the window. Press CANCL to exit without saving changes. Note: All changes made from the Device Values and Device Commands windows go to system memory only. These changes will be reset when performing a Device Reread, reloading a device file via the Asign Manager, or rebooting. The log file name is displayed at the top of the log file window. Axial 3000 User Guide DEBUG User Menu From the System User Menu, press {DEBUG} to show the Debug User Menu: DEVICE CLOCK MAINT D-LOG C-LOG DEBUG Enode Show Servo DbgOff Debug User Menu The following debug functions are available: {Enode} is an Internal Database. (Engineering function only) {Show} displays a Servo Debug window for a selected device. {Servo} initiates Servo logging for a selected device. This function is useful to observe device servo synchronization data and for analyzing other editing status. Press {Servo}, enter the time in seconds and frames for desired servo log duration (maximum 10 seconds), and press a device letter key (if no duration is entered, a default is used). The system will begin an initial log immediately as indicated at the status display line. When servo logging is enabled, after an edit, press {Show}, then the device letter to display the servo data. Various Servo Log display modes are available. Also, Servo Logs can be printed or saved to disk via the Servo Log sub-menu. Servo Logging is disabled when a serial port is re-initialized (e.g., Device Reread). Servo Debug Window 356 System Menu

Chapter 7. SYSTEM MANAGEMENT {DbgOff} toggles on/off the device Debug Command List function. This function is used to verify the sequence, timing, and byte strings of all the commands being sent from Axial to all devices for edits and other system functions. When enabled, the Debug Command List window is displayed prior to any preview or record edit pass. After the Debug Command List window appears, press ENTER to proceed with the edit, or CANCL to abort. When the Debug Command List window first appears, commands are displayed for all assigned device ports. You can create a filtered list of commands for a specific device by typing the serial port number of the device and pressing {Com} in the Debug Sub-Menu.
