NEWS LETTER AUG -DEC 2011 K.R.MANGALAM WORLD SCHOOL Independence Day The wings of independence were worn by the students of class I-A to celebrate the 64th independence year, which was beautifully portrayed in their special assembly. Students depicted by their breathe taking performance the sacrifices done by our freedom fighters. The students had the patriotic feeling to give a loving touch to their assembly. Students were highly energetic with their enactments as Gandhiji, Jawaharlal lal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat singh, Raj guru, Sukh dev and the real force behind these motivation were the followers who gave the real spirit to the assembly. The students brought the charm to the assembly, by various movements like non cooperation, poona swaraj, dandi march,and last but not the least, quit India movement. Forget not the britishers who were the ones to be fought against. So our sweet little children were enthusiastic to perform like britishers. All these incidents of the glorious past were narrated by the Zee news reporters who briefed the incidence before they were presented. These young children also pledged to make India a prosperous country, free from terrorism. Tribute was also given to freedom fighters by melodious song sung by children kar chale ham fidaa and tribute to Gandhi ji by their dance on song Saabarmati ke sant and ended the assembly with their tri coloured pom poms, to the song Ae watan Ae watan
JANAMASHTMI Independence Day class activity 15 august India`s Independence day was celebrated in K.R.MANGALAM with loads of enthusiasm and activities. Such as - general discussions were being held in their respective classes for the same. Class activity was done in the class. Each child was given a flag to colour it. The same flag was pinned up on their dress, encoding a message I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN. Thus teaching them the lesson of nationality.. K.R.Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar celebrated Janamashtmi with its known zeal and enthusiasm on 20 August 2011. The school organized various Inter-class competitions to mark this day. The whole premises was turned into a replica of a temple, surrounded by matkis, flutes etc. The icing on the cake was a splendid presentation by the children of class I E which showed few glimpses of Lord Krishna s life. It was adorned with the scintillating dance performances. In the end, parents were requested to swing the cradle of Lord Krishna and the Prasad was also served. Inter class competition (Kite Decoration) As 15 august is celebrated as the independence day of our India. So on this occasion K.R.Mangalam held a inter lass competition of kite decoration. Classes of Class I made one kite per class with the significance of tri color concept depicting the message sent by these colors as in saffron says sacrifice, white says purity and green says faith to our students.
Intra class rakhi making competition theme Raksha Bandhan As festivals are the ethnics of our Indian culture. So, it is very important to teach our students about the main ethnics of our culture. So the tiny tots of K.R.Mangalm decided to celebrate Raksha bandhan in a very unique way. The students were dressed in ethnic attire, where the girls were looking so beautiful in their suits and the boys were looking smart while wearing kurta pyjamas. An intra class competition was held in which the students decorated their rakhi. Raksha bandhan was celebrated with loads and loads of enthusiasm within the children. Inter School Competition Fledglings (Indraprastha School) Fledglings Inter school competition was held by Indraprastha School. There were various competitions held by this school. Our school came first in the clay modeling competition as well as the quiz. It was a really high pride for K.R.Mangalam to stand first in such demanding competitions. International folk tale Salsa Dance (Venkateshwar School) Each and every person today is fighting to achieve certain goals in their life. This fighting is termed as competition which creates a positive interest in the individuals. Likewise, parents are always willing to prepare their child for the competitions. Certainly, venkateshwar international school conducted Inter school competition. Our school stood 3 rd position in the category of international folk tale and salsa dance.these competitions help the children for their betterment and the exposure they get they really learn to fight and to grow with such an exposure.
Inter School Competition FANCY DRESS COMPETITION NEW ERA PUBLIC SCHOOL. - WATER PURIFIER AND DETTOL Grand Parents Day As completion is there in each and every field of today s world. We prepare our children to face these competitions with a positive note. New era public school conducted an Inter school competition. The theme was useful tools. These kinds of themes are very much necessary so that the students can learn more and more about our general needs. Our children were outstanding and they came back with a attitude of positiveness and got a very good exposure by participating in these schools which definitely will prove an upbringing ladder for the children. Family bonding and respect in relations are essential prerequisite of a happy family and for the all round development of a child. keeping this in mind K R Mangalam, Paschim Vihar celebrated the Grandparents Day. The occasion was graced by the presence of the elderly grandparents. A number of competitions were organised where they showcased their talents. The grandparents surprised all present with their talent and innovation. The day concluded with the prize distribution ceremony.
DEEPAWALI Christmas The auspicious festival of lights Deepawali was celebrated by the students and staff of K.R.Mangalam World School, Paschim Vihar with great enthusiasm. To mark the celebrations a Diwali Party was organized for all the students who came dressed in their best festive attires. All students were served a buffet lunch. A special Depawali assembly was also presented by the students of Class I depicting the scenes from Ramayana. The students took the audience to a world where mysticism of the mythological amalgamation with the contemporary. It was a day full of celebration, joy and festivities. A special assembly was presented by the students of KG Mercury on the occasion of Christmas. The purpose of having this assembly was to highlight the reason for the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. It was colourful, meaningful and thoughtful experience for all present.
Annual exhibition Akarshan Glittering evenings marked the celebration of the K.R Mangalam World school, Paschim Vihar Annual exhibition Akarshan on 29 Novemeber -- 1 December 2011. The school wore a festive look and there were many shining faces. The function commenced with the lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest on the big day. The school orchestra and choir regaled the audience with great presentations during the colourful cultural programme. The dance ballet on Global Warming won a loud round of applause. The annual report was also read out on this occasion. A superb display of light, sound, dance and music enthralled one and all. The exhibition put up in the KG and Class I rooms was also a great highlight for the fabulous presentation by the tiny tots was a huge hit. The students art and craft work was also exhibited through a Hastkala Expo and Shilpmela Annual exhibition Aadhar Keeping in mind the importance of plants and flowers in our lives the tiny tots of nursery classes presented a cultural extravanga Aadhar based on the theme plants & flowers. The dance drama presented by the students was a heartwarming experience for all.
