FAQ s Performance Q. How much heating do I get from a single portable heating unit? A. We can offer units from as little as 2kW to create a comfortable environment for 2 people in one office. Q. If we have insufficient units will they work and control the office temperature? A. For best results in all weather conditions the correct number of portable heating units should be used. If fewer are installed then on the coldest days the office or warehouse temperature will drop. Q. How much maintenance do these units need once installed? A. There is a basic weekly maintenance procedure involving simply making sure that the air inlets are free from obstruction and dust, which needs to be carried out to ensure the unit works to its full potential. Q. How much noise do the portable units make? A. Most portable heating units have a choice of fan speeds or are completely silent. At the highest speed the fan noise would normally be lost in the background noise of a busy office. At lower speeds the unit is scarcely audible. Location, Installation & Services Q. Where should we position the portable heating units? A. You will need to position heaters in an uncluttered area away from obstructions and not too close to the area to be heated. Q. What size is the air exhaust? A. This can range from 125mm in diameter and up to 250mm diameter. Q. What power supply is needed for portable heating units? A. A standard 13amp supply and standard plug is needed for our smaller 2kW units, and an extension lead can be used if one is not available close by. Our larger 13-42kW would require a 3phase power supply. Our engineers would be happy to discuss this with you. Q. How much power do these units use? A. Approximately 100% of the heating kw value of each unit. Q. Does a temporary heater/heating unit run all the time? A. No. There is an integral thermostat, which turns off and on the unit when the required room temperature is reached. 3

ICS Cool Energy s hire units offer emergency boiler replacements on either long or short term basis to suit a sites needs. The rental system offer the latest environmentally-friendly option of ruing off Bio-Fuel or, alternatively, Standard Diesel Fuel or Gas, furthermore all equipment is supplied with internal or external fully-bunded fuel tanks to ensure you or your clients site is safe from a fuel spillage. 18
Hot Water Packages Features ICS Cool Energy s rental hot water packages are housed within a steel container enabling external siting and increased protection from environmental elements. The container also aides with portability as the unit can easily be positioned with a fork-lift unit and coected to a customers system, ensuring a fast rental set-up. The compact system is powerful in design offering low pressure hot water for demanding requirements. The units feature a group pump with mixer and motor as well as a double walled stainless steel waste gas chimney (approx 1m from the top edge of the container as shown above). The unit is designed for reliable and safe operation with flexible hoses resistant up to 7Bar pressure and resistant to temperatures up to 100 o C.
