(M.A./ M.Sc./M.Com. in University Teaching Department, P.G. Regional Centre, Rewari and affiliated colleges where P.G. Courses are runing is being introduced in Part-I from the session 2007-08 and in Part-II from the session 2008-09 and so on for regular students. The Internal Assessment will not apply in the combined paper of Theory and Practical.The Internal Assessment also will not apply in M.A. Political Science through Distance Education Mode. 1. The procedure of award of internal assessment will be as under : A) Two class tests of 5 marks each. The class tests will be held in the 1st half of December i.e. before winter break and 1st half of March i.e. Total Marks = 5+5 =10 marks. B) Assignment/ term paper & presentation : 5 marks C) Attendence : 5 marks 65% to 75% : 1 marks 76% to 85% : 2 marks 86% to 90% : 3 marks 91% to 95% : 4 marks Above 95% : 5 marks 2. The record of internal assessment be kept by the HOD/ Principal concerned for six months only. 3. Each Department/ College concerned may form a Committee to deal with the complaints, if any, in this regard. 4. The test for internal assessment shall be conducted by the Department/ College concerned at their own level without any financial liability on the University and the students shall use 8 pages answer- sheets which will

2 3 be provided by the office of Dean Academic Affairs for University Teaching Departmnts & P.G. Regional Centre, Rewari only. The words M.D. University, Rohtak (for internal tests) be fabricated on the answer-sheet by the University Press for Departments and PGRC. Rewari. Colleges shall arrange such answer- sheets of 8 pages at their own level. MAHARSHI DAYANAND UNIVERSITY ROHTAK DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE Scheme of Examination M.A. Programme in Political Science 2008-2009 Annual System The M.A. Programme in the subject of Political in the subject of Polictical Science under the Regular Annual System Mode will have five papers of 100 marks each in M.A. Previous (w.e.f. academic session 2008-09) and five papers of 100 marks each in M.A. Final w.e.f. academic session 2009-2010). Thus the M.A. Programme in M.A. Political Science Regular Annual System Mode will have 1000 marks in total instead of existing 800 marks.
