Distribution of company announcements Efficient and operationally secure distribution for a competitive price that meets all reporting requirements. Oslo Børs offers a global and simultaneous dissemination of information with an emphasis on quality and stability. Announcements are distributed in real-time and satisfy all the requirements of the Transparency Directive. The NewsPoint user interface can be used to distribute announcements both to the market and to the Officially Appointed Mechanism (OAM) for the storage of regulated information. Distribution via NewsPoint includes: Oslo Børs Distribution Network: Announcements are distributed directly, including via large news agencies such as Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg and Six. Announcements are sent together with trading information to more than 40,000 subscribers to information about the Norwegian market. Oslo Børs trading system: All announcements subject to disclosure requirements are distributed simultaneously to more than 50 exchange members and their customers. Company Performance Report The Company Performance Report (CPR) helps a company s management and IR department to monitor trading in the company s shares. The CPR provides detailed trading and liquidity information about the company s shares, including historical prices, trading volumes, broker activity and key figures for order coverage and spread. Information is presented both as tables and as graphs. Nominee ID Identification of benificial owners and fund managers for securities held on nominee accounts. Identifying foreign investors who are registered on nominee accounts and who consequently do not appear on a company s shareholder register in VPS can be challenging. The Nominee ID product is a result from VPS s collaboration with Richard Davies (RD:IR), a London-based investor relations consultancy. When a company is registered in VPS its share register is automatically updated with purchases and sales, and the company can easily access reports on its ownership structure. Investors holdings of shares and changes in the shareholder structure are updated on a daily basis. VPS Company Services is available at two levels: Basic or Professional. General Meetings This service supports all stages of arranging general meetings, from distributing the notice calling a meeting through to assistance at the meeting itself. A number of account operators also offer assistance in preparing for and carrying out general meetings. With the help of VPS s systems, a company s account operator can provide support for planning and preparing for a general meeting, and this can include carrying out much of the practical work involved. The TeamEngine Board Portal provides the board with a collaborative tool for secure distribution of sensitive information with a common solution for calendar, invitations, board documents, meeting minutes, financial reports and a forum for discussions.
