3 Server Server is one of the most important system s parts. All the data on current accounts, history of the trades, currently opened orders is stored on the server. Furthermore, the server processes the transactions. Taking these factors into consideration, Soft-FX developed Cluster Server, which increases system s reliability and performance, eliminates system overload and reduce risks of failure. As a result of Cluster Service operation, when clients connect to the system, the load is evenly distributed across servers. One of them is Master Server, the rest are Slaves Servers. Cluster Server is different from a regular one due to its architecture, through which it provides higher reliability of the entire system as a whole. In case of a server failure, the customers connected to the server failed, will be reallocated to another one. Thus, the system integrity remains, and the clients continue to trade securely. Unified Backup with a wide range of data protection options ensures secure data retention. The system provides access to the history of quotes, accounts and transactions for the entire period of the server s operation.. To send data through open communication channels (eg, Internet) use secure protocol supports encryption, namely, SSL protocol, thereby ensuring the authenticity, integrity and confidentiality of the data, and all communication is safe and protected. 3

4 Replicator, FDK While some traders face the fact that the MQL language closes communication protocol with the server, Soft-FX is pleased to introduce its special tool called FDK. FDK or FX Development Kit provides an 4

5 opportunity to use Library instead of FIX protocol, it saves time and affords spent configuration of the platform. As long as the system may act as a Liquidity Provider, the process of integration with the Soft-FX Trading Platform has been greatly simplified. Furthermore, two levels of documented API basic and advanced - are provided. The Soft-FX Trading Platform also allows customers to deal with two different platforms at the same time due to availability of such component as the Replicator. It replicates all the orders opened on the Soft-FX Trading platform to Meta Trader 4 and vice versa. 5

6 Administration Console The Soft-FX Administration Console application was developed specifically for the purpose of system administration and management. It is designed to simplify and at the same time to provide enhanced functionality for managing the complex. User-friendly interface provides access to accounts and orders, trading instruments and system logs. Via the Administration Console it is possible to configure role-based access for different categories of staff (managers, dealers, administrators, financial managers etc.), so that access to certain modules of the programme is granted to a limited number of employees. The Administration Console provides the following options: Monitoring the health status of all the system modules, connection session monitoring; Timely receipt of faults alerts, setting up alerts for different events; Setting up the start and the end of trading sessions, add and remove data feeds, define various settings for liquidity providers; Viewing and analyzing server orders logs; Opening and closing trading accounts, disabling trading for certain accounts, grouping the accounts and assigning various group settings; Depositing and withdrawing funds from trading accounts; Opening, closing and modifying the clients orders, placing pending orders, viewing open orders, as well as placed pending orders, receiving detailed statements of trading accounts history; Adding and removing trading instruments, specifying settings for each symbol; 6

7 Grouping trading instruments, enabling each group of accounts to deal with certain group of trading instruments; Enabling dealing desk; Sending notification messages, as well as analytical reports to traders; Configuring levels of access to information and functions of the system for different categories of staff. 7

8 Trader s platform The Soft-FX Trader s platform is a client terminal enabling the clients to trade (place pending orders, open/close market orders,) to be aware of the current market situation (quotes, charts) and to monitor the state of trading account (balance, operating profit, equity, statement for a custom period). The Soft-FX Trader s platform is a state-of-the-industry solution providing the clients with so-called NET-accounts. For each currency pair a trader can have only one position calculated as a sum of all orders opened by him (her). Therefore, due to the fact that locked positions are excluded, traders save money on spreads and swaps. This type of accounts is supported by NFA (Nation Futures Association). Along with conventional functionality, the Soft-FX Trader s platform has a number of distinctive features: Built-in Depth of Market: The Soft-FX Trader s platform provides Built-in Depth of Market, which displays 5 best BID and 5 best ASK prices with volumes. 10 Tick history: The Soft-FX Trader s platform allows exporting the historical tick data, which could be used for data modeling and algorithmic trading strategies testing, running of historical simulations and back-testing, as well as for in-depth analysis of the trading instruments. In order to export, simply select the trading instrument and the period required. It should be noted that the Soft-FX Trader s platform enables to import the data from other sources, and then view the generated charts. 10
